Hey - I somehow have a 1% green wood estate construction license. I have no idea what this is and what I should do with it - can anyone help?

If you did a campaign, that's how you got it. Gather up 100 of these licenses for a specific location and you'll get yourself an estate.
As for what you should do with it:
Keep it - if building an estate is one of your goals
Sell it - will land you a nice chunk of gold on the market. |

Most % go between 27k - 50k ea. You need 100 % to make on the estate (average cost would be around 3-4 mil without the upgrades within the estate). Total cost near the 5M for one fully built estate. So no, not worth it for you at this moment.
