dont think that endurance talent of knight is fair? for 7 talents points he gain +4 defence,what is that to hell?
for 4def i must have expert erudition for 24 talents,i think that all of his talents are very cheap and it isnt really fair.he has the most expensive talent luck for 10 points,and fast everything else he has for 7 points.When it ll be balanced???? I have holy magic school talents for 10 points every and he only 7,he has more talents sections as me,better talents and . .. ..

knights have primary stat as def, so the def branch is cheaper, e luck is cheap for elves, offense cheap for DE,barb,barb

kk,i understand that every faction has some talents cheaper,so look at wizards talents and say me thats everything all right.i have no combat talents like defense,offensse,luck,morale[that i dont need very much] only 3 spell chools,erudition and sorcery.Every faction[except barbars] can choose if he will go on magic or or troops dmg,but i cant,i must only cast stupid spells,and when someone get magic resistance i can go to hell,
#3 this isnt about miniarts,knights have recruiting ability,so thats balanced with my miniarts,talents must have every faction balanced

Don't worry, I believe that if they add mage guilds lvl 4, 5 the talents will be updated... at least on .ru
BTW wizards are the only race that doesn't have 7pt talent(excluding Magic Mirror)...

That's right - wizards cast spells, then aren't they supposed to be better in some magic school? I mean elves are supposed to be training their luck by playing dice games, knights are supposed to be running around every house in every city, trying to convince farmers to join them...Wizards are supposed to embrace magic and make their spells better by practicing them and the more they practice it the better they must be(increasing faction lvl). Then how come an elf get cheaper spell school in terms of talent points???
Wizards have the cheapest erudition talents. And if you are so envious of the magic that elves have, maybe you should change your faction. No one is forcing you to stay as a wiz.
And i m idiot to change fation? id dont want change,i want to balance talents,so when fight factions have cheap fight talent i should have cheap magic not? yes chaos magic school cost only 12 points,really,really,really cheap,i cant have at level 10 expert talent so what is it for fairplay?????

1: first the necro talent wheel now wiz, and maybe all other factions will follow and ask for cheaper talent wheels :p

maybe talents are cheaper for knights in order to balance the game. maybe knights would be the worst faction if it wasn't the case... huh?

you can't ask for improvements of one faction, especially not the strongest one

yes, wizards are the only real imbalance in this game, and that's why it is so god damn expensive for them :D
What does faction ability have to do with talents?

there is some thing called brain try to use it. Why have expert leadership when u can use +3 morale mini art why have expert luck talent when u can have +3 luck mini art, +9 def and +9 atack instead def and off talents and then u realise those talents arent rly needed. :)

That's my point! As you can all see artifacts that give def/atk are giving statisticly more points than artifacts that give sp/knowledge. The reason why wizards have mini-arts as a faction skill is because(well it's because the guys from HOMM5 said so but, that's details:) they don't have any creature boosting talents! Thus a magic hero will have worse statistics if he tries to be such, because wizards don't have any might supporting skills, they have to stick to half-magic build! By doing so, they have lower statistics, so they have to make mini-arts to be statisticly little more then even, BUT they don't have any other skill they can relly on in PvP, so by wasting 2milion gold a wizard could equip all of his creatures with mini-arts, so they could be equal with knights who get more creatures because of their faction ability.
I think we're getting off-topic, about endurance-yes, it's a good ability, yes, it's cheap, yes, knights are FAVOURED by the system(as are all other races in some way).
15 if u think knights have it so easy ur wrong when u start knight u realise they need extra troops just to be even to other factions they have low ini so when they start moving finaly after other factions they already lost part of theyr units thaks to other factions atacking 1st.

Wizards feel it worse, knights have griffs(much higher ini than any wizard troop, even with minis)...knights also have guardians which protect against ranged attacks, also do I have to say again that you have endurance that gives you 4def, you got holy magic(3points cheaper than wizard's) and it allows you to cast protective spells such as stoneskin...you loose to little troops in 1vs1, in group you loose more because xbows get targeted...

At higher levels griffins are weak. Guardians are too slow to be effective at all. Endurance and Stoneskin only adds more defense, which is useless against magic attacks from wizards.

Even without mini-arts wizard troops are much faster than knight troops.

Knights need the defense and the extra troops so they don't die in the first turns before they can even move.

I cannot understand your problem with initiative...I believe there are enchantments in the game, which can help you protect yourself against magic!

The talent is called dominion of fire, and it+3rd level chaos spells=24talent points, and knight gets for 21talent points basic holy+renunciation+fireproof!
