well a good idea is to think about strong units for each faction. like invokers, vampires shrews cerberi etc.
i will garentee you mega invokers are going to be the most OP unit in this event. punishers damage with avenge ability/retribution strike and you get 5 of them for each addition. i have 30 of them already with 400 crystals. some other strong ones i have seen are mega succubi, fiends, hell horse, elf t1-3, maybe some necro units? possibly dwarf bears. wyverns seem good but im not hunting for 1 unit out of 7 in a faction that the rest of the units are trash. |

I just get any troops and go on easy mode for MG poitns.
Who with common sense would like to waste time to struggle with russian forum for locations.

I guess it's when they got mind controlled they count as enemy elf units so you get a favored enemy among those.
