Happy New Year! From whichever part of the world you're reading this, I wish you're enjoying your present.
I had a challenging situation at work. I'm transitioning into a new role and today was particularly stressful. But at the end of the day, I came home and ate a warm meal. A conversation with an estranged friend who called with season's greetings helped me switch perspective. It helped me realize I was fortunate to have a purpose and the opportunity to experience many new and difficult situations ahead. And isn't it amazing? No matter how stressful the day, I get to come home at the end of it.
Hope you too can find the strength to face your own difficult situations because the comfort of home is waiting, whatever home means to you, and know that it's almost inevitable. Sorry for rambling here, but I just wanted to share something with you all. | | Happy New Year to you to! Always right to share how you feel, even if it is to a bunch of people who are fundamentally strangers, although also sort of not. And I quite agree, it is important to stay grounded and put all of our circumstances into comparison. Yes it is right to feel whatever you feel when days are hard, but never lose sight of being grateful for whatever it is you do have. As long as you always make sure your perspective of what you do have is greater than what you don't, happiness will always be your friend. | Happy new year to you all.
