After the thrashing, most of the robbers retreated back into the depths of the wastelands, hiding in the wild forests. However, not all. Small groups of those who were not so agile during the rapid retreat settled in separate ‘dens’ near the very border of the Empire. Or did they decide that they were more clever than the others, deciding to wait until the commotion died down so that they could suddenly swing their axes again? Such an inconspicuous ‘prickly pest’ can be even more dangerous than a huge horde of bloodthirsty thugs attacking like a swarm of locusts. Hunting for such insignificant prey would clearly be out of the question for the renowned Lords and Ladies of the Empire. But for those who fully follow their worthy example, such a task will certainly be quite within their reach.
Lords and Ladies, glorious Leaders! The Empire needs your assistance in clearing the border regions from the remaining robber forces and all those who are not welcome in these lands. No personal involvement is required, nor is the use of your own armies. To complete a number of the assigned tasks, a few squads of Leaders’ Guild followers should suffice.
Combat Briefing:
- All Lords and Ladies of Combat level 5 and above are invited to participate.
- Participation requires being at least level 7 of Leaders’ Guild or purchasing Leaders’ Guild Potion.
- Only your Leaders’ Guild troops are allowed to perform the assigned combat tasks.
- Your maximum leadership is determined by your current Leaders’ Guild level.
- The battles are fought without your character, artifacts, or talents. After placing your troops you may activate auto-combat.
- You will not receive any experience or faction skill points, and any equipped artifacts will not be worn out.
- The main goal is to complete as many of the most difficult and manageable combat tasks as possible.
- Important! Each task offers a list of 4 enemies of varying difficulties, from the hardest to the easiest. You may choose any option. In case of victory, the next task and new enemy options will be offered. In case of defeat, you can either try your luck in a battle with another enemy from the list or retry the same enemy. After 3 defeats to the same enemy, battles with them will become unavailable. The defeat limit for the easiest option is 5, after which the task will be automatically skipped without gaining any points.
- Important! Each task offers a similar type of enemy for all players, however, enemy armies may distinctly vary for each player in terms of their troop composition and number.
- Victory over an enemy within one task yields a different number of points: from 5 to 10, depending on the difficulty.
- Important! The overall difficulty of all enemies in each task may vary depending on your personal successes in previous tasks. Winning against the hardest enemy (10 points gain) increases the difficulty of all enemies in the next task. Winning against one of the two easiest enemies (5 or 7 points gain) decreases the difficulty of all enemies in the next task. Winning against the second hardest enemy (8 points gain) maintains the current overall difficulty level. In the case of 5 defeats on the easiest option, the difficulty of all enemies of the next task will also be decreased.
- The overall difficulty has a higher and lower limit. The starting difficulty of the 1st task can be either decreased or increased. The highest difficulty is reached with a series of victories against strong opponents (battles for 10 points) and is designed for using the most powerful and efficient epic creatures. All battles are potentially beatable, but are balanced without taking into account your personal creature collection.
- Each enemy option has its own reward, listed before the battle begins. The reward can include gold, Leaders’ Guild points, creature armaments, parts of creature stack for Leaders’ Guild reserves, diamonds, and parts of special artifacts. The amount of gold awarded upon winning is determined by the overall difficulty level of the current task. Some rewards (such as parts of special artifacts) may become unavailable for easier battles if the overall difficulty is greatly reduced.
- 15 new tasks will become available each day.
- A total of 90 tasks will be offered in total throughout the event.
- Important! During this event, the manual resurrection of common Leaders’ Guild troops will be available. They will not be resurrected automatically.
- Important! You cannot improve your score on the current task. When you win any option, you will immediately be offered a new task.
- The top 75 military clans and all their active members will be specially rewarded. Awarding will be based on the final clan ranking, where each clan’s final score will equal to the sum of points gained by its top 100 members.
- All unblocked Lords and Ladies of successful military clans will be rewarded if they bring at least 400 points to their clan.
- If a Lord or Lady leaves or is evicted from their military clan, the clan loses all of that member’s points. If the member rejoins the clan, their points will be returned to the clan’s score.
- Leaving the clan on the last day of the event and before the award ceremony is forbidden.
- Admission to military clans from the second day of the event is limited to three Lords or Ladies per day.
- Important! Once you score over 400 points, you will be temporarily unable to join any military clan until the event is over.
- The event will last for 9 days, through December 29 inclusively.
Using your connections and undisputed authority, you can spend a certain amount of gold to recruit the help of additional common and uncommon Leaders’ Guild troops. Moreover, you can take advantage of a one-time purchase of rare and epic followers. The number of units per player is limited.
The successes in completing the assigned combat tasks, beside all the other loot, can also yield parts of Fear Bow (up to 15 parts) and Dark Cloak (up to 20 parts):
All Lords and Ladies whose followers succeed in gaining at least 20 victories will receive a unique achievement in their character profile. Furthermore, the 5,000 most successful leaders will be additionally rewarded with Leaders’ Guild followers. No additional rewards other than those listed in this announcement are planned.
