I figure I may as well buy the magic guild level 4 for those castles I have not got so long as there is the vague possibility I may ever use them.
I presume it is actually useful for some necro builds (summon elemental) and already have it for wizard and some others. Which factions do you think there is no chance it will ever ever be needed to have magic guild 4, not even in any niche scenario? |

But for lower level crature upgrades, for which you can pay with gold, it is mostly (or always?) better to pay with gold or resources. I compared and with 1 diamond=5000 gold, the dimaond prices were higher than gold/resources. At least for T4 and T5 upgrades it is that way. Others I didn't build and check. |

I usually compare the effective diamond cost multiply by 5k gold and compared with the actual gold cost of construction and decide which to go for |
