For over a year now, the main smuggler forces have not shown any signs of themselves since their crushing defeat at the hands of the Empire. If they finally dared to stick their noses out of their dirty dens, then they must have learned their lessons and prepared well. However, the Lords and Ladies were not idle either, they had prepared several new tactics for the dishonest scoundrels, taken up from the free people of the steppes. Many squads of numerous interceptors were already burning to finally try them out. But the order to start it all was in no hurry to be given.
Councilor Feurlis continued to patiently monitor for the appearance of someone else, for whom he had been instructed to wait. The necromancer looked a little anxious, or rather irritated, which was extremely unusual for him. Even a modicum of ignorance made the spymaster feel as if he was not doing his job well enough. At some point, the silhouette of his ghostly assistant appeared next to Feurlis. She was about to whisper something to her master when suddenly a raven’s cry was heard. A strange and ominous bird, woven from streams of hellfire, was rapidly approaching. Reaching the positions of the imperials, it abruptly darted to the ground taking the form of an efreeti. Or more precisely, a terrifyingly beautiful efreeti. Dismissing his assistant with a firm gesture of his hand, the necromancer was puzzled: "Another one of Arabat’s passions?..". In response, the unexpected guest only furrowed her eyebrows angrily. "Don’t rush to conclusions councilor…" Abu-Bakir’s voice immediately rang out as he appeared behind the efreeti. The necromancer turned his gaze to the court mage and without hiding his disbelief he said: "It seemed to me that you have… a rather complicated relationship with the infernal sorceresses, lord". "That is true", responded Abu-Bakir, "Which is why I entrust her to you. Our dear guest, young…" he hesitated, as if remembering her name, "Fakhila, has some personal scores to settle with thieves, robbers, and smugglers. It might take her a little time to get back into it after the difficult flight. But, to tell the truth, I don’t envy those fools who dared to cross her path. I think you’ll get along well.", the wizard added with an alarmingly good-natured smile, "And I’m going back to my laboratory. I don’t like to freeze under the cold autumn winds.", with those words, Abu-Bakir struck the ground with his staff and in the blink of an eye dissolved into the air, disappearing within the swift currents of magic. Fakhila meanwhile approached the necromancer, looking down at him with flame-filled eyes. "I don’t like you", the efreeti said ominously and without waiting for a reply, rushed towards the combat units.
Lords and Ladies! The smugglers have once again decided to make their presence known, noticeably increasing their activity on the roads and trails adjacent to the Empire’s border. They can use new tricks, the answer to which will be new combat tactics! In this regard, Councilor Feurlis requests everyone to join this battle operation and catch these rascals. During it, the mysterious efreeti Fakhila will be at your disposal.
Combat briefing:
- All Lords and Ladies of combat level 5 and above may participate.
- Attacks on caravans are allowed only in artifacts from the shop (AfS), enchantments have no effect.
- New! Interceptions must be performed alone and fought in 1õ1 format according to the updated rules for ambush attacks.

- New! In total, it will be possible to intercept no more than 70 caravans.
- New! At each stage there will be 2 caravans to choose from, you can defeat only one of them - you will not be able to keep up with two.
- Important! The composition and overall strength of the caravan guards will be individually selected for each Lord and Lady taking into account their faction, class, series of victories and character’s progression, as well as taking into account the progression of the combat companion and the developmental path chosen for them. Only the opponent type and the key features of the battle against them will be common for all Lords and Ladies.
- New! In addition to all other rewards, defeating each caravan can bring up to 10 event points. Each defeat will reduce this value by 1 point, at the same time it will also weaken the strength of the corresponding caravan for the next attempt. Defeats are counted individually for each of the two available caravans.
- Important! The efreeti Fakhila, a mysterious hell sorceress who wields Chaos and Darkness magic spells will take part in the operation as a combat companion. However, if desired, she can also perform well in both close and long-range combat. By following your clear instructions and performing certain actions in battle, she will surely be able to reveal the full potential of her respective combat talents. Nevertheless, it is unlikely that she will be able to master all the skills at once to the fullest extent.
- Important! Ñombat companions have their own parameters, but will also benefit from your character’s main parameters (Attack, Defense and Initiative), talent effects, and the modifiers and other properties of the artifacts you equip.
- Important! Ñombat companions own parameters, abilities and spells improve only after victorious battles.
- This operation will last for 10 days, through December 4 inclusively.
- Each day it will be possible to intercept no more than 10 new caravans. Unused intercepts are carried over to the subsequent days.
- For winning a battle you can receive points toward Thieves’/Rangers’ Guild, gold, creature armaments, diamonds, elements, creatures in reserve, parts of creatures in reserve, and even parts of special artifacts.
- The 75 top-scoring military clans and their active members will receive special rewards after the event. The rewards will be determined by the clan rankings where a clan’s final result will equal to the sum of earned event points of the Top 100 Lords and Ladies of the clan.
- The clan rewards will be granted to all non-blocked members who will have earned 350 or more points for their clan.
- If a member leaves or is expelled from a military clan, the clan will lose that member’s points, but will get them back if the member re-joins.
- Members may not leave their clan on the last day of the event and until the rewards have been given out and announced.
- Clans may accept no more than three members per day while the event lasts.
- Important! Lords and Ladies who intercept 40 caravans will not be able to enter any clan while the event lasts.
- The Empire will additionally grant a unique trophy artifact and corresponding achievement to all Lords and Ladies who successfully intercept at least 10 caravans. The durability of the artifact will depend on the number of event points earned.
Extremely important! During this event, the "Battle Exhaustion" system is in effect. Starting from the 15th turn of any battle, the Lords’ and Ladies’ talent ‘Mana recovery’ will cease to function. The same will hold for the abilities ‘Life drain’ and ‘Battledive’ for the units in the Lords’ and Ladies’ armies. Additionally, all enemy units will gain the ability ‘Attentive’, and an increase in initiative and speed. Notifications corresponding to this exhaustion will appear as a warning 1 turn before and at the onset of exhaustion.
