Author | What does AG3 require? |
Whats the shortest path to it if you are AG2.
Does it really need to complete with max difficulty in all campaigns? | It is faster if you attempt max difficulty (120 points), you would need to complete 36-40 campaigns with max difficulty to reach it.
Otherwise you would need even more attempts. | You can get AG3 if you play four campaigns with every faction except one to two, with another throwaway faction on easy to unlock hard mode on each campaign.
I'd recommend skipping Amnitis Mysteries due to its length and relative difficulty.
I used classic wiz on easy to unlock the hard campaigns and then did the other four campaigns on hard with every faction but Pharaoh (and only did two of the four with tribal).
If we assume perfect scores on each run, it would take you four runs on easy and then 65 runs on hard to get 8100. (4 x 80 + 65 x 120 > 8100.) Doing four campaigns with each faction gives 65/4 = 16.25, or 17 separate factions on hard. With one throwaway faction on easy, this means you need 18 of the 19 available factions to get AG3, which matches my case.
This, of course, assumes you skip Amnitis, as I recommended. If you don't, then the calculation changes to (5 x 80 + 65 x 120 > 8100), where 65/5 = 13, so you would only need 13 factions to run through all five campaigns on hard and one further faction to do each campaign on easy.
It's up to you, but I actually think you save money by skipping Amnitis with each faction; you might have to buy more PoS, but you also spend less by simply doing fewer combats overall. (And from what I've heard, the battles in Amnitis are incredibly frustrating and repetitive, as I mentioned before.) | I think AG is more enjoyable when done slowly.
If you have all the castles, then use the Day of Faction to switch to that one and do 2-3 campaigns.
Else use the day of recruiting.
If you get strong event arts for it, and pick the right build, you can mirror through most campaigns. | Must be infuriating to lose CGs due to a stat difference though | Thank you everyone for the replies. I thought achieving AG3 required colossal effort, and based on what I hear, that much is true. Some day in the future, I will dream of pursuing it and use the advice kindly provided here, but not now for sure :) | closed by virtual_vitrea (2024-11-05 08:28:03) |
