Author[Event] Crossroads of Mysteries
New event, rehashing an old one.
Any tips from lords who have previously bested the Gray Baron? I never understood how to interpret the map, or how to choose rewards correctly.

my type of stats that I choose randomly
is it better to focus on 1 element to upgrade or diversify

My guess would be to diversify, but I don't know what the actual damage formula is.

You're almost certainly right for the different elements, I had a brain fart. But maybe it does stack up like that for elemental and melee/ranged?
There is only 1 tactic that really works for these kind of events. That tactic is to enjoy it and worry less.

i personally would prioritize Attack>defense>ini>elemental damage>melle damage>knowledge spellpower.

play something like tactics or innate swiftness fury barb with advanced defense and maul everything. all my games i just turn 1 hit with boars into auto for the win. lets see if that continues day 2.
elemental damage works same as weapon enchants, right?

Personally a prefer full stats over a 1% increase in something. The benefit of having me hero be able to do some casting to buff or debuff without losing stats elsewhere or changing arts is very useful, and I think will have more impact than a couple of percentages. Once I have enough stats for this however it would cease to be so useful

Can poison damage not be decreased with magic resistance? I thought it was earth elemental damage.
Poison and decay are 2 different things. Poison no, decay is earth ele damage.

Poisoning:
After being attacked by this creature, the target will be poisoned for two full turns taking earth elemental damage each time it would gain its turn. The damage taken every time is as much as there were poisoners at the moment of their poisoning attack. If a more numerous stack of poisoners attacks the target already under effect, the effect is renewed.

Venom:
This creature envenoms its target for 3 turns upon dealing damage. The venom deals 5 earth elemental damage per unit in this creature's stack.

Now that you mention it though, maybe it is one of those things that got changed a long time ago, without changing description.
