I find it a bit annoying when browsing general forum and harder to track when Most of the pages are the day of
it can be easily done by having a separate forum or just a small window in the corner where you track daily things such as this |

This won't happen, they started to delete the day after the post so there was only one day of any given day after demand of com again, but soon enough the track of days and what they were got lost so it came back.
Forum doesn't have such big traffic those posts are the most alive thing here. |

Having a history for "Day of" is useless to be honest
So deleting them daily is annoying for admins

I removed those "days off" for years, but people complained. Now, I do the opposite, and people still complain.
I honestly don’t know what you want anymore. I got them to put the news back in the small box on the screen (news section) after people asked for it to be removed because it took up space. So, I requested to add it again last year.
Is there a solution to this? I can 100% promise you if we delete them everyday, people will complain again. |

what I posted here is a "only a suggestion" and a simple one
General forum is better for game discussions like events or guilds etc.
and I believe I made it clear
I am only pointing at moving the day of posts
the options are left to the admins to see how it can be handled
it can be pinned at the top and when the next day come it will be deleted and pin the new day
it can be moved to another forum
it can be mentioned as a notification in any part of the game UI
but I didn't say it should be this or that way |
No, no, I didn't mean it personally, so no worries. It's just a topic that's been going back and forth for years.
I asked Lexa to reach out to the admin, but I doubt they'll create a separate "Day of the..." forum. What we could do instead—just a suggestion—is start a thread in the General Game forum titled something like "Day of the Daily Discussions."
Mods could then remove the daily info in General forum, and if anything is worth highlighting, they can manually copy it in the main "Day of the..." thread. Any player can do this then. This way, it remains open for ongoing discussion and it will be long topic with a lot of history about those "days".
Maybe I came across a bit harsh—it wasn't directed at anyone specifically. Just know that this has been a long-standing discussion, and it's not exactly a priority for Admin :-) I've tried many times, unfortunately. |
This has been discussed to death long time ago, and we did saw the results of this, nobody attacks anyone, just a been there done that situation.
Only solution is for their own separate section that devs were clear that it won't happen.
I use the search tool for forum, works very good and faster than looking at pages. |
