Traditions are indisputably valuable. One can hardly overemphasize their role and significance. They remind us of what is important and what really matters. But adhering blindly to old traditions may at times dull the understanding of their underlying foundations and even prevent their natural evolution. But where lies the line between deviating from traditions and perfecting their core principles? The mind of the Hunters’ Guild leader was full of conflicting thoughts, contrasting starkly with the solemn atmosphere of the new hunting season’s opening ceremony that was about to begin. As he mechanically gave out the final orders to his subordinates, he couldn’t stop thinking over the matter that was still bothering him. And the closer the moment of the forthcoming start was, the less clear the answers to his questions seemed to be. Perhaps the noble ritual of the hunt would dispel the shroud of doubt? And there were no reasons to postpone its start.
Lords and Ladies, the Hunters’ Guild triumphantly announces the opening of the new hunting season and invites you to take part in this glorious event! It is recommended, however, that you thoroughly familiarize yourself with the general rules before you begin.
General set of rules:
- All Lords and Ladies of Combat level 5 and higher are invited to participate;
- For battles against difficult or regular enemies, only shop artifacts are allowed, and enchantments have no effect;
- Important! For battles against lesser enemies, there are no ammunition restrictions, however enchantments still have no effect;
- Battles are held in the format of a Lord or Lady with their army against armies and groups of various creatures;
- The spell damage multiplier of the Wizard faction does not apply;
- Important! The hunter is provided with a map of marked targets of varying difficulty. The targets are generated individually for each participant. When you change a faction or class, a new list of targets will be issued;
- Before the start of a battle, it will be possible to familiarize yourself with the provided intelligence on the enemy’s arrangement;
- On the first day, you can fight the first 10 hunt targets in any order. Each consecutive day, 10 more hunt targets become available. To attack the new day’s targets, you need to defeat all targets from all the previous days on any of the available difficulties. A total of 60 hunt targets will be available;
- Important! The ranking will be based on the number of points scored. Defeating a difficult opponent can bring you up to 10 points, a regular one — up to 7 points, a lesser one — up to 5 points;
- Important! In the case of defeat to an opponent of any difficulty, the number of possible points for defeating a given target will be reduced by 1 for a difficult opponent and proportionally for all others with constant rounding up. After 10 defeats to opponents of any difficulty against the same target, only the lesser opponent will remain available for whose defeat you will get 1 point;
- Important! In the case of victory over a regular or lesser opponent, the target will be considered defeated, but if desired, you can fight against a stronger opponent at any time to improve the result and receive the rest of the rewards. A victorious battle will also be counted as a used attempt and will reduce the number of points that can be gained if the result improves;
- For successful target elimination, you may receive Hunters’ Guild points, creature armaments, Hunters’ artifacts and gold;
- Higher-difficulty options yield greater rewards, however, the rewards shown do not sum up for the single target. Once you defeat a lower-difficulty option, the rewards for any higher-difficulty options that remain available will be lowered by the reward you’ve already collected;
- The hunting season will last for only 8 days, through September 2 inclusive;
- All Lords and Ladies who eliminate 50 targets will receive Abu-Bakir’s Charm lasting for 15 days.
- The top 75 military clans and all their active members will be specially rewarded. Awarding will be based on the final clan ranking, where the final result will be equal to the sum of the points scored by the Top 100 Lords and Ladies of the clan;
- All unblocked Lords and Ladies of successful military clans will be rewarded if they bring at least 250 event points to their clan;
- If a Lord or Lady leaves or is evicted from their military clan, the clan loses all of that member’s points. If the member rejoins the clan, the clan gets their points back;
- Important! Leaving the clan on the last day of the event and before the award ceremony is forbidden;
- Important! Admission to military clans from the second day of the event is limited to three Lords or Ladies per day;
- Important! Once you score more than 250 event points, you will be temporarily unable to join any military clan until the event is over.
Important! During this event, the “Battle Exhaustion” system is in effect. Starting from the 15th turn of any battle, the Lord’s or Lady’s ‘Mana recovery’ talent and their troop abilities ‘Life drain’ and ‘Battledive’ will cease to function, while all enemy units will gain the ability ‘Attentive’ as well as an increase in initiative and speed. Notifications corresponding to this exhaustion will appear as a warning 1 turn before and at the onset of exhaustion.
The personal successes of each Lord or Lady will be additionally rewarded with parts of Fear Sickle:
for 50 event points: +1 part;
for 100 event points: +2 parts;
for 140 event points: +3 parts;
for 180 event points: +4 parts;
for 250 event points: +5 parts;
for 300 event points: +5 parts.
As well as parts of Magma Boots:
