| Author | Why are there so few players for duels? |

| I am interested in trying some duels with people at LV5. Despite announcing duels several times, I have been unable to find any player to duel with. What is the reason behind this sparsity? |
First of all, there aren't that many people online at this time. Check the server time on the top right - it's early morning. Try to request duels at around afternoon server time.
Secondly, do you mean here: https://www.lordswm.com/one_to_one.php? If so, then the problem is that those duels aren't popular because they give no guild points. If you want to try duels, then you should do them here: https://www.lordswm.com/pvp_guild.php.
You can enter duels there from :20 to :30 and from :50 to :00 at each hour from 8:00 to 2:00 server time (IIRC). You'll also need to wear a minimum set of shop artifacts. Finally, you'll need to win a PvE test combat in order to be able to join. The artifact requirement makes the game (more) equal for everyone - the factions are balanced under the assumption that all players are wearing the best artifacts.
Thirdly, there might just not be a lot of level five players. This is an old game, and most people have moved beyond that point. That being said, I would still recommend trying to find duels at https://www.lordswm.com/pvp_guild.php. |

| Yes I meant one to one duel. Reaching 21AP is almost impossible for a character at my level. I will try sticking with this game and hopefully participate in a more interesting event. |
this is a character building game, doing battles for no guild points to level guilds to gain stat points isnt very effective for long term character progress and will eventually leave you insanely weaker then others on higher levels.
if you want to try duels, play commanders guild. also most players that are dedicated are much higher level and the few low levels are people restarting new characters and they know to avoid duels. also early levels it very easy to counter certain matchups. for instance an elf can play max innitiative and have their druids go before your magi on the turn scale and then you just lose. |
| Unfortunately there are hardly any players that see this as a game for fun anymore and prefer to see it in this light, this is a character building game, where duels aren't worth taking part in. Even though they can be a lot of casual fun |
