| Depends which faction you are playing the most of is the honest answer, I think necro is a huge upgrade but if you're playing more dark elf then that's most effective even if the upgrade is potentially the weakest |

imo necro > knight > dark elf for t7 upgrade.
You could make a case for either depending on which ones you play most. I agree with Merlin. |

knight is next best. 8 speed on angels is insane. |

necro on 17 is quite strong along with knight, it is the level before necro becomes irrelevant due to mage de. llevel 18+ is where mage de spikes into rediculous OP territory and necro is insta lose.
knight is already strong, for obvious reasons but having 8 speed t7 really makes them hard to deal with.
dark elf dragons are indeed weakest ipgrade and only good for mage vs mage mirrors as anyone playing might dark elf is just trolling or playing for fun. |

Bad take. It's strong but nowhere near OP or as popular as you claim to make necro irrelevant. You can also say DD is OP, holy knight is OP, Dwarves are OP. Bwiz is OP. Fire dward is OP. Point being, in relative terms, it is the same as any other with advantages and disadvantages. Yes it counters Necro but so do a lot of things counter mage. Might DE counters most mages, bwiz and mage DE easily. Personally, I would take a lvl 18 might DE as teammate over a rushing charmer elf with 25 or so defense who desperately needs lucky triggers. |
