i dont know if this is what you are asking, but im gonna try to explain anyway
the different types: optional, evenly, equal battles, random, eofo
optional - battle will only start if the max number of participants have joined. for example if it is a 3v3 and only 5 players have joined before the joining window ends, the battle wont start (need other players to confirm if i am correct about this)
evenly - the group battle will begin with the same number of participants in both teams. for example if it is a 3v3, the second player can only join the opposite team of the player who created the group battle. a third player can choose to join either team, and the fourth can only join the team that only has 1 player. if there are only 5 participants at the end of the joining window, the person who joined last will be kicked, resulting in a 2v2 (character name will be highlighted in grey)
equal battles - participants will have potion of guilds and potion of skill activated, which can give you more stats
random - participants will be randomly allocated to teams (if there is an odd number of participants, the last to join will be kicked)
eofo - no teams, free for all between 4 players or 6 players with each player occupying a corner of the map
but calamity is right, most players should not bother with group battles. if you really want to play pvp, better to focus and guilds and play cg instead |

| They aren’t answering because you’re better off playing commanders guild. Better fsp ratio and real guild points |
| Guys he's lvl 8 and CG starts at lvl 9. Of course the fsp ratio in regular group battles is bad, but some ppl here just want to have fun and don't grind to be the next stat monster |
CG can now be started at CL 6 Magier.
Or 5 I don't remember.

| I was being nice bro. I was giving what my honest advice on the subject which is to play CG. Its an actual guild and gives crazy good fsp/exp ratio making you more powerful. |

I agree with u 100%. Lots of time people mob around genuine people and try to force their opinions or insult them. Have seen this kind of mob/horde mentality among few people on this forums.
