I think this is highly speculative, with sufficient vagueness to not really mean anything. I suspect its purpose is also to see how people respond.
I doubt this is significant. Even when people have on hand significant resources, when compared to the total across all players individual wealth is relatively insignificant. Given this and the total numbers of .com players I would not expect there to be any significant impact.
Furthermore in terms of actually money it is only one way, that is in the direction of Russia. You can only give them money for in game resources, you cannot get any real money back from whatever you do in game. As such the opposite to what you say is arguably true(depending upon your finer meaning).
In terms of real games gold, the way labourers guild scales means there is a gradual increase in gold in the economy. This will cause inflation on any artifacts or resources with finite reserves.
Many may hoard good as there is perhaps a lack of anything worthwhile to spend it on.
For myself for instance I have reasonable wealth, all through just enrolling and being frugal with what I spend. I could look to buy an estate, or start enchanting a set, but realistically will never really need them due to what time I have to play. So at the moment just sit on gold so can buy full castle for any new faction they may introduce etc etc |
Agreed with Miles.
Its really hard to lose gold when you have built all castles and got multiple sets of arts. I burned all my gold when I purchased an estate just to have something to spend on, but I am almost back to the same level of disposable $$ |

What is gold and how do you calculate it? Estate's? Enchanted artefacts? Enchanted war sets? Castles built? Enchant/smith max? Total sum of everything?

| I guess it is just down to the fact that donating doesn't really give me anything that I want that I currently cannot access anyway. Sure a premium image would be nice for the extra stat, but I don't feel like it is worth it, for just one faction. So sure I guess they have made no money from me for as long time, which I guess is not right, but they have from others |
