I have a question. What is considered a secondary battle? Is it only the extra battles which I get after 4 losses which reduces my potential score?
Or even the battles for glory/silver etc. will reduce the potential score? |

There are 3 secondary battles - for glory,silver,armamaments.
Basically, before playing main stage you can play 1 battle of each type without losing any point on main stage.
If you play more than one, you will start losing points.
But this will increase your army and recruiting level and make event easier.
But if aiming for top score, just play all once.
If going for guild grind, can play multiple times to make it easy for yourself. |

For some reason, I read "Victory" instead of "Defeat"..
so yeah, seems like you will start losing points from 1st battle itself of secondary.
Interesting concept, so obviously max score won't be available and everyone will end up with different scores at the end. ( unless directly copied the strategy of playing secondary battles at particular levels ). |

Here is the new version sorta hopefully it makes it clear and in line with what RU announcements received.
At each battle stage, you can get up to 1,000 event points, however, defeats in any battles and victories in secondary battles will reduce that number. Each defeat in the main battle or secondary battle, except for the first at each stage and each type, will deduct 1 point. Each victory in secondary battles will deduct up to 70 points depending on the number of battle stages completed. The further you progress through the main stages, the fewer the points will be deducted for victories in secondary battles. For example, after completing 30 battle stages, each victory in secondary battles will take away 40 points (70-30=40). To maximize the number of points in the event, it is more practical to go through secondary battles at later stages. With each completed main stage, the loss of points for victories in secondary battles decreases, which allows you to accumulate more points.
So yes, you will get less points if you do secondary battles even if those are wins since it deducts points. |

I don't understand the scoring system
some players lost more battles than me in side battles and main battles
and yet have more score points |

I lost 1 horde battle and 1 caravan battle only and yet my score is 8463
Others lost more side battles and they reached 9k |

| So if you do more side battles your score will be less if the others did more or they did it at a later stage e.g., you did at stage 1 which removed 70 points while they did sides at stage 5 which removed 65 points instead |
