Authorobbsidian sword blacksmith
It looked that some guys were buying out all obsidian swords from all blacksmiths, to blackmail others through market. But just in last hour a blacksmith in mithril coast became available (or has been replenished) with more than 1000 obsidian swords. How nice!
Oh that’s a bit of a bummer. Too bad one can’t build a monopoly over obsidian swords.
During event times most weapons run out due to the demand when shop arts are required.

Share holders can change the type of produce and can shell the stock they have from previous change for more profit at times like this, that's what happened with the one at Mithril Coast.

2024-01-12 13:26: Facility type changed by the shareholders decision from "Phoenix dagger" to "Obsidian sword blacksmith". Remaining goods "Phoenix dagger": 79.3 pcs.
Yeah Calamity is right, it's not a problem for the shareholders production will just move to the next shortage art.

This was actually considerably worse before shareholders as some popular items had only one or two factories and would run out like clockwork 1 day into an event. Some shop arts could be sold at 25% mark up, reselling rings was a big money maker. These days when an art hits zero other production facilities will change to that type with a time delay dependent on how proactive the shareholders are.
for Calamity:
"run out due to demand"

meanwhile https://www.lordswm.com/pl_transfers.php?id=1399959
Unfortunately people are fueling this by buying.
But anyway thanks for the info. I didn't know such mechanics exists. I have a small number of certificates but was never included in such kind of a decision.
for diversecity:

Market sellers are not excluded from the demand, never did, but they are not the main reason mines going empty.

I had never trouble to buy artifacts when I was still playing by following the end time shift of the item I wanted, especially after midnight.
Even when the mines are empty there's a good amount left at artifact shop, sometimes for days.
Also buying bulks of them at the very start of the event or have them always stocked at my inventory had never left me with out artifacts during an event.

I was always considering that as side thing of war, you can't go to war if not well prepared or broke, they are expected and planned so has to be your army.

for Lord Mora:

That's another thing, with 100 of them you can buy an estate, something not so useful unless you are done with all buildings and have millions sitting there just to burn.

Share's is on actually production mines, each have 100 shared to people and they can decide the line of production, always on the same type it was like if is weapon will change to weapon etc. and every week profit is shared in between shareholders.
It's artificial demand is all I'm saying.
Yeah I know, it always had and always will with the current system. Not taking this to account after all this years that is well known and won't prepare and then traders is the sole evil is old news, especially when you can easily bypass them if you really want to play is all I'm saying.

Previous event at the mine I have shares we was selling at the highest price that can be, higher than the market sellers at that time, artifact shop will always sell at the fixed price, by the end of the sift arts show at artifact shop as well. there's always a way.
