By the default it does not. The reduction of defense is from the Master of fire 10% ability.
Master of fire 10%.
Fire elemental spells damage the armor of affected targets for one turn, reducing their defense by the specified percentage.
Master of storms 10%.
Air elemental spells knock the affected targets back on the ATB bar by the specified percentage. |

The events are getting worse and worse for lower levels
Last event lvl 11 players and lower could only max 75 points automaticly been left out of the top ranks
Similar problems spotted on this event
Lower levels have smaller silver rewards as a result they will not be able to aim for top ranks.
I don't know why they are doing it like that but it very dissapointing for lower level players being unaible to reach top ranks |
This is a problem also for the clans rankings.
Clan with higher level players will get more silver than clans with lower level players even if the lower players are more succesfull overall the higher players will still get more silver making the event unfair |
| the reason is obvious, the events are easier are lower level characters so players from some clans are creating unsigned multi accounts for the sole purpose of getting top scores for their clans and abandoning the account after the account becomes too high level |
No different than laws prohibiting drinking / driving below a certain age.

Its just a 'lore' or story reason to be able to see what the opponent setup is before you choose to attack them. It is already being used automatically. |

Ouch. I thought they meant to show the complete setup of the enemy troops like in the other event. |
| its just rng event. every fight i hit luck turn 1 i smash enemies. every fight i dont hit luck they luck morale turn 1 with every unit and i lose. just flip a coin and enjoy the gambling folks. :) |
| i mean... i just lost another game where 14 ini enemy dragons go in front of my 15.2 ini pirate women and turn 1 luck+morale and ruin an easy 570 silver fight. :) |
| Something to keep in mind, ocean spirits and upgrades don't have the pirate ability. So they don't have the 15% damage reduction that all other troops do. |
