Author | when does rapid/delay takes effect |
my question is about troops spells
if I cast rapid or delay using Gnolls Shaman
on some troops that don't have any active spell casted on them
at what condition the spell will take effect immediately? |
I'm pretty sure it's always immediate. But it is possible that the upcoming turn order does not change if the gaps in "accumulated initiative" between the stacks are large enough. |
many times it didn't take immediate effect
sadly i don't have examples now as I don't remember the battles where it happens |
Imagine a 100 km track, everyone is at the 1km mark, now you delay the fastest troops, the fastest troops are now the slowest troops and will take longer to reach the 100km mark, and you will see an immediate change in ATB placement.
Now imagine a 100km track, monster A is at the 99km mark, but everyone else is at 1km mark, you delay A of course monster A still moves next, so it appears that the delay didn't take immediate effect
The numbers are exaggerated but it's what Ulmo is saying basically. |
does the tier of the troop makes any different
for example if I cast delay with goblin shaman or dark witches it will be the same right? |
for Elden Lord:
it should be specified if they are casting at advanced or expert level |
