The infernal flame, the scorching heat and the distinct notes of sinful stench - without a doubt, this was the border beyond which lay the expanses of the underworld. Was this supposed to mean something? Or was it nothing more than a humorous quip from the organiser of this whole escapade? Suddenly, from somewhere in the background, a clink could be heard, sounding as if a handful of coins were scattered across the ash covered ground. "Fascinating place", all of a sudden the Grey Baron appeared out of nowhere "Brings back memories of something long forgotten. Or perhaps even of something that never existed. These feelings should be familiar to you. Somewhere deep inside your consciousness. Behind the veil of all these insignificant questions. Does it matter where you come from and where you are going? All that matters is the path and the motivation that prompts it to be taken. That’s how it’s always been, hasn’t it? In the meantime, you’ve conquered the most challenging phase, with just one final step remaining on the path to acceptance, buried deep within. It doesn’t matter in which of the directions it will go - the path cannot be taken back, and its consequences cannot be changed." A gleam of hellfire flared in Grey Baron’s eyes, and a mysterious smile appeared on his face, after which he silently began to approach - and when he was about to pass by he abruptly froze. "Speaking of…" he said excitedly, taking a short pause, "Rodrigo, my servant, has one small but rather important errand to complete. He wouldn’t dare to tear you away from upcoming affairs of imperial importance. But if at all possible, it would be nice of you to give him some company for his onward journey. You’ll probably have someone in mind". Without waiting for a response, and without demanding it at all, the Grey Baron simply continued on his previously determined path. A few moments later - his figure vanished as mysteriously as it had appeared earlier.

Lords and Ladies! The journey through the mysterious Crossroads of Mysteries is over — and the choice you've made has been accounted for. The Grey Baron is pleased with the overall results. A well-deserved trophy will be awarded by majordomo Rodrigo to all worthy Lords and Ladies who achieved at least 12 victories. The durability of the artifact will depend on the number of victories.

 
 


The contribution of the top 75 military clans is especially noted! The clans will receive battle glory and each clan member that contributed at least 30 points will be rewarded with the loyalty of new Leaders’ guild followers. The amount of glory points, as well as the type and number of followers, will depend on the rank that each clan achieved:
