There is currently no way of knowing if a non-right-hand artifact breaks (0/X durability) other than manually checking character page/inventory.
During lengthy events or campaigns where max arts are crucial to victory, a player may inadvertently start a battle without full arts --- having not realized that one of their arts ran out of durability.
The current solution is to manually check artifact status in between battles or memorize remaining durabilities, which, in my opinion, is too large an ask.
Ideally, a miniature display of the player's artifacts would be shown on the event page, but I would settle for a simple "Current AP: XXX". This would at least show the player if their AP dropped, and thus if an artifact broke.
