How do you even compete against barb or wiz or dwarfs as elf, it always seems a lost cause.
Any thoughts on it? |
Are we talking duels or 2v2?
Classic Elf with Def talents seems like it has a longer life in general against most opponents. |
| both duel and 2v2, but defence talents make the elf weak and anyways tanks of wiz and dwarf or necro for that matter will eat through |
I have seen elves taking charmer varient. Boosting initiative with all possibility and try to make the first hit. If this goes well there are good chances of victory.
The shooters are amazing, if you get the first hit as shooter, you get the advantage. |
| actually i do always get the first turn, but you cannot get turn before orcs, and even on first hit against dwarfs and necro it is suicide |
Playing lots of CG as both dwarf and necro, i can safely say that elves are one of the easiest opponent.
As a dwarf, you can only lose with insanely lucky dragons and unis' blind on bears.
With necro, knockbacks on skeletons.. else pretty much not. |

| Elf is insanely weak. I never manage to lose against an elf player when i face him with demon, barb, necromancer, tribal, knight, and even other factions. Pharaoh beats it too plus dark elf. Elf is in 2v2 the weakest faction. In duels, you can win a couple of matchups, not a lot |
| I'm currently running with Triple Luck + Vitality + Avoidance. So far, it's been a stable build at least in mixed/EOFOs. |
| Elf definitely needs some balance, while it’s extremely easy to take on some factions, against many it stands no chance unless lucky, or you are a stat monster for your level. |

check my eofo matches, they are built for survivability and nobody wants to fight heavy defence ironroot, so i usually win or get good position |

Seems like another use of that faction other than hunting/MC guide. |
