Author | Depositories of clans were expanded |
Seems admins decided to reduce the cost to expand the depo. For us it was 4.5 million for 10 more spaces, now it's 2.25 million for the same.
Weird thing, they also increased the depo size of clans having already big depo. We got 40 more spaces for free (420 to 460).
Good change. But what's going on? xD |
Didnt they also refund some gold? |

Yes |
We got 130k back
development cost dropped from 1,81M to 1,67M. I assume that the curve of development cost was cut down mostly on upper end. |
we got no free slots. likely admins have given you those 40 slots for overpayment amount you had and transferred you what was left of it. |
So in total mostly Top30 clans will feel more difference. |
So admins want to increase the gap between small and big clans then? |
They want to encourage war |
Sorry I'm probably missing something but how does this achieve war? |
2 time consuming and to costly |

Bigger depos, war clans can purchase more arts and enchant them, and if they see them there they wanna use them. I think some arts are still rented from depo, like magic rings, temporal signet rings.
Probably good for clans who don't have players full of imperial / dark / heaven etc sets and just want to gear them up in something reasonable to practice with, or to fill gaps for incomplete sets etc.
Expanding depo and making it cheaper does make sense generally, we have increasing numbers of items coming into the game so it is nice of the admins to make it cheaper to store said arts. |
The change is a good one. And if you see, it's rational.
Regarding war, nope, if they had to do that they won't give top clans more space but they would compensate it in gold and. But that would mean a 10 million cash influx for every clan who has depo around 400. You would see more wars that way.

This is it. |

My optimistic mind would think, depositories got cheaper to expand, small clans can have bigger depo now. ;) |
For Botmun:
Well, we got no extra spaces, no refund, and our next upgrade? The same price... :P |

Yes, but the upgrades after that may be cheaper :) |
Of course the cost gap in between our depo and AKs depo hasn't changed, but there are now 40 extra slots for AK to earn income from. Of course, this is the benefit of being established as a clan and like any business it is hard to start/compete without huge investment/starting capital.
Clearly the main issue here is that if there are suddenly 500-1000 extra slots available amongst the top clans, then element prices are in for a sharp rise! And if not that, then seasonal arts such as ring of Cold :/
I wonder if this is a precursor to a further update, maybe clan-owned imperials in depos before long?? ;) |
Not really gonna change any prices of anything. Speculation from my side it might be related to imperials and stuff. |
The change implementation honoured the clans that already made investments so that they lost nothing. Likely the statistics were showing that there were too few depository developments once the price has hit 3-4M. Now way from 250 to 400 slots is flattened from 1,5M-4M per 10 slots to 1,5-2,2M per 10 slots.
Top clans will likely further invest in depository size and hold more sets and arts for various types of events. |

I feel the same, might be related to clan owned imperial, dark etc arts to get rid of extra parts, it mentioned in last interview. |
