Another enemy ship sank to the bottom, leaving as a reminder of itself only wreckage and bodies of dead pirates engulfed in flames, aimlessly swaying in the waves. And above the whole scene towered the image of a contented dwarf, silently watching from the side of an imperial ship. His companion must have been halfway to Harbor City's port by now, but the dwarf himself didn't seem to be in a hurry. He had waited too long for the moment of reckoning. It was the same pirate ship with the same crew that had abandoned him on a desert island almost four years ago. And even though he didn’t manage to grab his share there, almost all of it went to passing merchants sailing past for the assistance they provided. But they were wrong to do this with the Empire’s Lord! Things could have turned out quite differently.

Suddenly, the attention of the dwarf was caught by a slightly burnt record book floating near the very side - and curiosity nevertheless took over. A little effort - and the find was already in his hands. And although the water had unfortunately managed to blur most of the records, some of it was still readable. Scrolling through a few pages, the dwarf managed to find the notes of that very ill-fated raid many years ago.

«Another cap went on a date with Davy Jones. None of the crew expressed any desire to take over the deck-bridge. We should look for someone from the outside. Some hardened simpleton from the mainland, who does not know about the captain's curse.

And this goober is not as simple as he seemed at first when he immediately laid out 500 piastres for a cat in a sack. How he attacked that imperial galleon in the side… It still buzzes in my ears. It would be a pity to lose such a cap. But the sea will still take its toll.

The raid is coming to an end. Let's take a couple more ships - and then it's time to rat out! But the cap must be saved. It's too early for him to join Davy Jones. We need to talk it over with the crew after sunset…

Oh, and he was angry. It looked like the echo of his curses could still be heard from the direction of that island. But it's for his own good. The captain's curse no longer threatens him, and he will certainly be able to get out somehow. Yes, and a considerable share was left behind with him - he will not be offended. And there, you see, how the witches will settle everything - maybe the sea winds will bring them together again one day.»

Shutting the record book shut, the dwarf frowned slightly. His joy subsided, but what he had done could not be corrected. The sea is sometimes too cruel to its sons. May it take their souls. It was time to return to the mainland. Perhaps the gratitude of the Empire will be able to mitigate his sadness a little.

Lords and Ladies, the hunt turned out to be a success - and an absolutely well-deserved beating for the pirates will probably be enough for a long time to moderate their impudence and greed a little. Warlord Grammith thanks all those who responded to the battle call and made a worthy contribution to the overall victory of the Empire. The captured battle trophies will be divided among all those , who have successfully recovered at least 320 silver. The artifact’s durability depends on the amount of silver gained.

 
 


All Lords and Ladies who have at least one victory can receive a generous reward in gold! Your reward depends on the amount of wins and your combat level. Gold is issued on the "Pirate Hunt event" page.



All Lords and Ladies who have plundered at least 300 silver have been sent parts of the Magma Helmet from 1 to 10 pieces. The number of pieces depends on the amount of plundered silver.



Also, the Empire celebrates the 75 best military clans - a well-deserved reward and loyalty of new followers are waiting for all the worthy, who brought the clan at least 400 points:
