Counter-smugglers' operations become more and more efficient every time, and even heavy weapons like ballistae escorting criminals cannot protect them from the deserved punishment any more. Excellent cooperation between the Empire’s security intelligence service and brave Lords’ and Ladies’ armies resulted in record high haul. It looks like somebody suffers pretty substantial loss investing in this adventure. However, the Empire for sure would not allow all these trophies to vanish.

"We had checked all the hooks and did not find anything", reported the vampire with his gloomy sepulchral voice to the counselor Feurlis in his office. "It looks like they decided to work more cautiously".
"Or they want us to believe so…", uttered the necromancer thoughtfully and asked immediately: "Is that it?"
"The Warlord asked to pass confiscated stuff to the frontier garrisons".
"I have no objections", the counselor answered after a small pause, "pass one third of the confiscated to our valiant guards. The remainder is put in the "warehouse zero".
"Yes, sir", the vampire bowed and left the office immediately.

Barely audible echo of the closing door slam have just subsided, and a silhouette of ghost spy loomed from impenetrable darkness slightly behind the necromancer. "Take care about her not finding out about that", ordered "Spider" shortly without turning around. The spy nodded submissively and disappeared in the darkness leaving her master along with his thoughts.

Lords and Ladies, the hunt for smugglers is over - and the Empire’s roads have become a little cleaner and safer again, for a while. Warlord Grammith thanks everyone who made their contribution to the overall success of the military operation. Everyone who managed to organize a successful interception of a caravan of the 7th difficulty level and above will be rewarded a trophy artifact and an achievement. The artifact's durability depends on the maximum difficulty level defeated.

 


The Empire also celebrates the top 75 military clans. Just rewards, as well as the loyalty of new followers, await all those who earned 15 points or more for their clan:
