Having settled a sudden problem with the council of magicians, Abu-Bakir completely immersed himself in his new research. The mysterious properties of the dark crystals of time opened up many new possibilities, but at the same time they imposed many restrictions, some of which had already left their mark on the magic of the portal. It was necessary to proceed carefully - and start with small priorities.

A painful female scream suddenly filled the silence hanging over the battlefield. It belonged to the last surviving spirit of the seas that, bound by magic spells, stood among the dozens of bodies of fallen amphibian warriors.
"Why are you resisting so violently?" Abu-Bakir asked indignantly, slowly walking around the spirit behind his back, "I just want to help. Give me what I ask and everything will be over" The sorcerer looked into the captive's watery eyes, stopping in front of her.
"The spellwalkers from the portal have no faith!" the spirit answered with a certain mixture of cold and aggression in her voice.
"Stubborn creature!" the magician snorted with displeasure, "I didn't want that ..." he added and shouted somewhere into the distance, "Bring her!"
Immediately, from behind the spirit's back, the creak of metal and the crash of approaching heavy steps were heard. And after a while, their source also appeared - two steel golems that dragged a coral priestess, bound in enchanted shackles. For a moment, a note of excitement slipped on the face of the spirit, but she instantly suppressed them and looked at Abu-Bakir with even greater contempt.
"I feel a strong spiritual bond that binds you" said the sorcerer, releasing the golems with a gesture of his hand, "Stronger than I have met before" he added, meeting his gaze with the spirit again and after a short pause "Well, we'll see if she retains the same composure while contemplating the fate of your world."
The court magician smoothly passed the pommel of his staff in front of the priestess - and the aggressively wriggling snakes on her head immediately calmed down, plunging into a magical sleep. Then he brought his second hand, clenched into a fist, to her face and opened his fingers, revealing a shard of dark time crystal to the amphibian's gaze. She really wanted to close her eyes and not look, but her eyelids refused to listen to her, as if some unknown force did not allow her to resist. And a moment later, reflections of the future began to flicker on the surface of her predatory eyes. A mixture of horror, pain and despair seized the priestess - and a cry escaped from the lips of the spirit again.
"Stop it!" the spirit shouted heart-rendingly, and a lonely tear flashed in the corner of her eye, which began to smoothly slide down her face the colour of sea water, reaching her chin and falling off in the direction of the earth. However, the crystal blade of a dagger suddenly appeared on her way, exposed by the hand of Abu-Bakir - the real Abu-Bakir, while his phantom, standing in front of the priestess, dispersed in the blink of an eye, dropping a shard of dark crystal to the ground. With a careful movement, the court magician brought the blade to a pure crystal of perfect shape and tilted it slightly. Gliding smoothly along the edges of one crystal surface on the edge of another, the amphibian's tear flashed again for a moment - and immediately seeped into the crystal, frozen in its very center. The deed was done.
"This is for your own good" Abu-Bakir said calmly and partly even with a feeling of regret in his voice, dispelling the spell that bound the captives, and heading away in the direction of the imperial camp. However, as soon as he took a few steps away, the spirit and the priestess, who deftly slipped out of the shackles, were filled with aggression and rushed after him. A strike of the staff on the ground - and two lightning striking from the heavens immediately eliminated the threat that arose behind the sorcerer, and only two words embraced by disappointment flew from his lips - "Stubborn creatures ..."

Lords and Ladies! The opening time of the Portal has come to an end - and it is time to sum up combat results. Abu-Bakir personally thanks everyone who responded to his call and helped keep the scientific expedition safe from harm. For the hardiness and bravery shown, everyone who managed to collect at least 450 crystals of time will be awarded with a special unique artifact. Its durability depends on the number of crystals collected!

 
 


All those who collected at least 250 crystals have been awarded with 1 to 30 pieces of the Heaven diadem. The number too depends on the number of crystals collected.



All Lords and Ladies who have won at least one battle are entitled to a gold reward for their contribution! The exact amount depends on your number of victories and your combat level. Make sure to visit the Portal of Time page to collect your reward.
