I don't see the point of this?
I mean Grandmaster bowmen definitely are better than their alter class and same with elite forest keepers.
Thats so much compromise in damage by units for a magical upgrade to your character attack?
Just curious why people opt for that class? xD |

Charmer elf shooters ignore defense, has no range penalty and are faster.
Unicorns are super tanks and strong

EFKs are too soft and die too easily. At my level, people playing regular elf just go for max bowmen and anchorites with no forest keeeprs |
| My experience...normal elf win against charm elf at pvp.. Sharpshooters can kill grandmaster bowmen, but normal elf’s dragon and tree are big trouble for charm elf... Unicorn are 50-50... |
| PvP at lower levels just go with elf. Once you get unicorns upgraded you can try either of the two factions. Ultimately it comes down to the strategy you use. |
If you go on for a 1v1 between elf and charmer elf, chances that CE will win are quite high. Pristine unicorns and sharps are OP. Only ironroot treefolks are better than savage trees, otherwise brethrens are better than efks, pristine unis are better than brilliant unis. And if you know how to use crystal breath crystal dragons are way better than jade dragons.
Though it's better to play classic elf until you don't get pristine unicorns. :) |

I disagree about crystal dragons. That thing is luck rng dependent +elf have 4 jade dragons whos with luck will desemate charmer. |

Elf vs CE in dual ?
Stats says it's equal win rate between elf vs ce in dual at lvl 17, can check out some fights below.

PVE battles where classic elf rules.
but PVP battles. Even in TG, i would choose charmer elf over elf.
My TG strategy is to abandon forest brethrens, and choose dryads. Dryads can attack up to 3 targets on the first strike, and they draw fire prior to sharpshooters which means that the enemy will waste most of its firepower on it. Leaving 2 or 3 stacks of sharpshooters to deal tons of damage with no range penalty. The TG battlefield is also large enough for charmer elves to play hit-and-run strategy when it sometimes come to a state that a few remaining unicorns versus one stack of slow, strong troop such as ogre magi. In this state, classic elves are hopeless, while charmers can play as if they are magic DE. |

For TG, nothing beats Luck Elf.
First turn game is done majority of the times.
Otherwise I believe Elf as a faction is very hit & miss. I used to main Elf, but how paper thin all the troops are made me worry so I switched. |
