Now there's a complete set of dark and imperial set. It's time to compare the bonuses:

Dark set full bonus:

(offensive: bow + dagger)
Basic Param: A+43 D+35 P+13 K+7 I+35% L+3
Special(10): Innate Enchant I16F18; Magic Pierce+14%; Magic Shield+55%; Melee Damage+10%; Hero Ini+15%; Melee Resist+32%; Range Damage+25%; Range Resist+5%; Range+1

(defensive: cloak + shield)
Basic Param: A+38 D+39 P+16 K+8 I+35% L+3
Special(7): Innate Enchant I16F18; Magic Pierce+45%; Magic Shield+85%; Hero Ini+15%; Melee Resist+41%; Range Resist+40%

Imperial set full bonus:

Basic Param: A+41 D+34 P+6 K+14 I+30% L+1 M+2
Special(9): Innate Enchant I15; Magic Pierce+20%; Magic Shield+40%; Hero Ini+26%; Melee Resist+30%; Ranged Resist+16%; Melee Damage+29%; Range Damage+20%; Range+2

(defensive: cloak + shield)
Basic Param: A+33 D+40 P+9 K+16 I+29% L+1 M+2
Special(7): Innate Enchant I15; Magic Pierce+50%; Magic Shield+60%; Hero Ini+26%; Melee Resist+37%; Ranged Resist+59%; Melee Damage+18%

From a rough comparison, it can be concluded that dark set is better than imperial set upon its higher basic params. The Luck +3 stat rules completely over Luck+1 Morale+2 of the other. Upon special effects, the I16F18 innate enchant also worked better on dealing more damage.
However, some of Imperial set's special stats, such as Range+2, or Hero Ini+26%, are just irreplaceable.
Both set focuses on attack and defense params, but with decent spellpower and knowledge. It looks that if a magic faction uses the set, the attack/damage modifiers are wasted, while a might faction uses the set, the spellpower/knowledge are simply wasted.
Only hybrid factions: holy kn, dark dm, charmer elf, fire dw, battle wz and pharaohs are eligible to take advantage of all bonuses, while the spellpower/knowledge are still more than sufficient.

The question is that: when do we really need these godly equipment...except for a few cases where taxing/facility attacking takes place?
Add:
If we take all special bonuses into account, only three factions will not waste a single bonus: charmer elf, battlewise wz, and unholy nec. Namely, these factions play majorly with might damage, while they can and need to do decent magic damage sometimes.
Imperfections are that charmer elf has no chaos magic talent, that battlewise wz meant literally nothing for spellpower over 25, and that unholy nec has no ranged units.
Usefull for war but only enchanted arts. Usefull if clan is conpensating your fights. Like AK for example. 10k per fight. Regular non enchanted sets are too expensive for anything.

In war, every single stat matters, higher defence parameters is you taking less non-magic damage and higher attack is you dealing more damage in retal or more likely to finish off an enemy.

Perfect time to pick up mass spell talents from might talent trees which otherwise are not interesting.

Of course the whole thing is overkill but the set is tailored to work both for might and magic equally rather than have two variants for each (plus variants for slots that offer might or magic enchant slots).

Also should work wonders for destruction demon which can then have the sats (but not the enchants) of might and magic.

With reguards to imperial/dark set, I'd take imperial over dark anytime as magic, everything is offset by the hero ini bonus.
To 99% of the players who don’t do war, u can either sell the parts, keep them in inventory (like me), or use them in AG/events with no limits.

I have been using the rings in events for luck and morale. Good stuff
Another option is aiming at Hunting Achievement...
If you compare enchanted imerial/dark set vs. Beastbane enchanted set there is a clear winner. BB set (+forest arts) is best for hunting records.
