I think it is one of the best rings for a ring that is counted as an artifact shop.
It gives a load of stats especially for defense, and compared to other shop art rings |
BW likes the ring because it gives magic pierce which means you can wear a sword, bow or sun cloack but still damage armor of creatures immune to fire. Classic wiz likes it too because it has magic pierce unlike shop counterparts.
Besides repair cost makes the ring pretty cheap in the long run and there is no better ring... So yes, ring of cold is cool :) |

Ring of cold repairing price is much cheaper , and personaly ROC is my most used rings :P |

All the builds should use defense rings, including chaos. Ring of cold and its shop equivalents outclass too much all the other rings, barring ring of sun on some levels. |
