AuthorAdobe flash retirement impact
I'm not sure if this has been discussed before. Please point me to the post if it has.

As we know, Adobe flash will officially retire at the end of this year. How will this impact the game? Would it still be playable in another form? I understand that the current game is based on flash player.
There's a HTML5 mode available in settings. Enable that and it won't use Adobe Flash. The only part of the game affected by the Adobe Flash is the 2048 clone they show whenever server errors out
everything has been moved to HTML5 now but yes battles were better in flash
Thank you both for the tip. Just tried the HTML5 option. The battle indeed looks very different. Will stick to the flash battle that I'm so used to :-D.
You could switch to HTML 5 and get used to that instead?

Survival is about adapting to new situations :D
"Change only at the last minute" is the belief for a lazy guy like me. ;-)
Thank you for this information. I've actually been fretting and losing sleep over losing my favorite game, due to the Flash predicament. Thanks Developers and Administrators. :)

Now that I know LoWM will still be around after the end of the year, I'm gonna go right out and celebrate. (Social distanced and masked of course.) :)
It will be a sad sad day when flash disappears
Who uses flash??? HTML is default more than a year ago. Runs way smoother and better too.
Who uses flash???

Flash has been around for a long time, and for a long time, Flash has disrupted all my browsers. So I'm not gonna miss it. But I will need some time to get used to HTML.
I have a question:

I changed over to HTML an really love the simplicity of its interface.

One thing missing is the Chat Option, so I could talk to my teammate(s).

Did I overlook something in the Settings? Or is the Chat Option not available in combat battles using HTML??

Thanks in advance for replies.
for Lady Zephyranna:
It is available, maybe it is minimized for u. If u see a tiny black bar at the bottom of ur screen, click it and it will expand the chat bar.

Yes playing on FLASH and converting to HTML was painful at first. But after few days with HTML, u will never go back to flash.

HTML is just way better, smoother and nicer experience generally. It's just that we used to be so comfortable with flash.
I bitched and whined when HTML came. After some period i tried it. Forgot about flash. Now i bitch and whine when somehow flash gets activated. :)

Try it. Stick with it for few days. You won't go back.
I like html5 my only issue is that the narration bar is at the top and I never could get used to that.
Oh and on desktop you have option for classic interface.
Yay! \o/ Found it. Thanks all for your replies. :)
One more little question: :D
Does anyone know what that big Exclamation Point icon in the upper left corner does?
Is that a blue i? If so, that is your info button which simulates a right click for mobile players.
Thanks Ryric.
