Its up to what level its vanguard and your own level. But, i rather do vanguard and raid manual
Some level mercenaries need do with full arts. Like me lv 14 to huge army lv 17 i need full arts till 2nd battle or ill do it more than 5 times and lose reward |

Mostly level 1. I played some in full set at level 5 but now it could be easy, if the AI did not use a bad setup like this: https://www.lordswm.com/warlog.php?warid=1051473041<=-1
I guess it could have won if I did not forget to switch to attack. I could try with some extra AP, perhaps as fury barbarian and see if it can handle it. That could be worth saving up some time!
