Hold off fighting LeG until you acquire some uncommon troops
Then use those.
Faster you get some blues and yellows, the less money you'll lose on LeG.
Increase your combat level quickly. Higher AP fights give lots of troops.
For example, I get 25,000 leadership worth units after every 5 cg battles. |
| Join a top-3 MC for next clan event. You'll get a yellow creature as clan reward. That'll get you started very well, very quickly. You can check "Bunnie"'s log to see. |

Common troops cannot be resurrected. That’s why the One Ring suggested to wait until you have some uncommon troops. Those can be resurrected.
Bunnie is the name of a player. Search for him and check his combat Log.

It would not hurt your stats because leaders guild only gives +1% initiative at level 9, which hardly makes any difference. It does not give any other stats. |
I suggested Bunnie because he was in a similar situation to you a while ago, but now he has ascetics, strongmen, beastslayers and such which he got as clan rewards, and now he clears LG fights comfortably.

For clan events, the only thing that MCs want from you is some sort of guarantee that you'll finish the event with max score.
Since your account is new, this might be trouble. You can show your top-10 result in this event to them, and they'll probably get convinced.
If not top-3, top-7 clans are within your reach for the time-being.

Leader's guild doesn't affect rest of the game-play. Apart from 1% ini at LG9, it's safe to ignore from PVP sense. |

| Fun, special events and tournaments. Some people even earn gold from leader's guild by playing well and having strong troops. This has become especially true thanks to the introduction of the daily challenge and tournaments. |
| Also, even though it doesn't affect tradional gameplay, LeG IS half the game-play right now. If you ignore it, you'll get left out of every other event/update. |
