Has anyone of you ever encountered a real time horror :3?
I have never :b |
On one of my flights back in February, i had the chance to stop over at Pennsylvania for 3 days, having nothing to do i visited the Eastern state penitentiary, i remembered the place from having watched ghost hunters since i was a kid. I am not scared of the dark or ghosts so i visited the place with my 2 friends. They like me werent scared of anything spooky as well. The first half an hour wasnt that spooky until we noticed that there was some kind of a shadowy figure at the far end just staring at us. For about 3 minutes we just froze in our places and chose to approach the figure, as we kept getting closer, suddenly that thing turned around and vanished into a room. It took a lot of convincing my friends to check what's inside. When inside we stood shell shocked to see dark robes fallen on the ground which were looking exactly similar to what the figure was wearing. We quicky got out of the room and walked towards he exit when we heard a loud slam of door, we turned back and saw that the figure had returned and this time was much more clearly visible. Clearly not in the mood to do any more sight seeing, we dashed for the exit.
Later on, we told the caretaker of the incident and he said such appearances by the spirits are pretty common, given the gruesome past the place has had. |
Everytime i watch a horror movie at night , next few nights are horror experience. Cant even go out to take water from fridge as my brain keeps telling me (with sound effects) there is a ghost behind every door i open or close cant even turn without thinking there is something standing behind me, and if a lizard or mouse runs or falls from wall during this moment i almost might get a heart attack. |
Happens with me too ; sometimes i can't take a shower with closed eyes , if something creepy going in my mind :3 |
for siddi1111:
How do you sleep at night after such an experience lol :/ |
What do you mean by "encountering a real time horror"?
Such experiences are born from people's imaginations. Its either a fictional thing, or created unwittingly in the form of hallucination. Your brain can perceive everyday things as paranormal if it is primed for it.
You only need to take a basic course in psychology to understand that our brain is a whimsical thing. It can fabricate a complex imaginary world that feels too real, but is simply a matter of various neurotransmitters (NTs) having abnormal interactions at the nerve ends. When you take drugs like lysergic acid or LSD for instance, you can replicate those sort of experiences people often initially describe as paranormal or from out of the world. Needless to say these things can happen without drugs too because the NTs are normally present in the brain and regulated very precisely. So next time it feels like you are encountering a real time horror, you can think of your brain being out of whack due to your imaginations which can trigger abnormal release of chemicals and psychological arousal. |
Also this incident i remember happened a few times. i was alone in my house with just my dog. And she started barking vigorously at almost midnight 00:30 , after she hasnt stopped for like 10 minutes i got up and peeked out of door and saw nothing , it was like she was barking at an empty place , so i thought probably a cat and went back to sleep, as i am about to sleep my dog makes that noise u know when dogs make when they are afraid , so i got up to see what happened and this time went out but again nothing. So i called my dog inside my room so she would let me sleep in peace and she did come in , but she wont stop staring outside and every few minute she would bark and then jump on my bed trying to sleep near me as if she was really afraid of something and all i could see was dark and nothing. It was almost as if she could see something that i couldnt and that something was staring back at her.
This incident happened with me and my dog again when we were crossing a graveyard , all way she was smelling stuff and enjoying the walk and as soon as we crossed the graveyard she was only looking backwards wont even smell things or see in front , her all focus was in the back until i finally stopped as it was impossible to move her this way , she sat and started in that direction for like a minute and suddenly got up and started dragging me towards home with full speed , she was like "Enough of this fun walks , lets run back home".
These 2 incidents Really scared the shit out of me.
(U can see my dogs pic in my album its there :P) |
I have been in a war zone when I was 19, at my 47 I still see the horror in my dreams sometimes. |

I wish i had a dog too =( |
for Bunny in burrow: I visited the facility during the day. Night time or going alone doesn't scare me. It's the place itself which was very creepy. |
I met Syrian, that was very horrific.
Me too, I can confirm. |
