Looking back to the early sword of cold sale where you got the artifact for 20 diamonds.

The amount needed to donate to get a reward has only gone up time after time.
I have never donated for one of these sales but clearly they are popular, but now you need to donate 130 diamonds more than at first which is a considerably higher amount of real money.
Has this sale tempted anyone? What are you spending the diamonds on? |

Further to this, recently the exchange rate has gotten worse so 20 diamonds now is more expensive than 20 diamonds previously. |
I think I'll pass this time. Beyond the price increase, the traditional gift of artifacts is gone and the troops, albeit it may be interesting, rare troops are not my cup of tea.
To admins: Please return the traditional gift of Artifacts. |

Do not need diamonds above what I can gain from events. Have enough gold to do what I want, (lots of things I don;t have, but I do not have expensive tastes).
I think I will get LeG 10 before the culmination of any forthcoming LeG event, and as such based upon previous difficulty levels would imagine I could complete with those troops I have.
As such where is the motive?

Do not need diamonds above what I can gain from events. Odd place to be in. You're probably the kind of guy that worries the admins the most, and they experiment with rewards to check what is it that will make you pay up.

So this reward system is here to stay. They'll just keep making stronger and stronger "shop equivalent" arts to incentivise ones like you. |
| Not sure if I am typical re my spending habits, if the world were like me the economy would probably slump. Pretty sure my type are not who the admins are after. I reckon the profit from admins will mostly come from the few who give lots, rather than the many who give a bit. Easy enough though to see why they have repeated this type of reward, if you track who got wolves, it was a lot of people, multiply that be the cost and you have the most realistic impression of what level of revenue the admins get from this. |

| Pay day today, was gonna grab a handful of diamonds (enough for 1 rare unit) but this event has just been so draining (emotionally) that I just don't want to do it. |
