when we use two different talent sets, we often forget to change between them.
For me personally i use 2 different types - for defense and shooter hunts i use offense and tactics , otherwise i use full luck based talents. Since tactics is situational for me, i wanna return back to my luck talent set after the battle is over.
So my idea is to have an option of a standard talent set (which is the one we always want to have).Incase we want choose another talent set for a battle,we should be given an option to choose the number of battles for which we want to have those talents and after the completion of those many battles, our talents should automatically reset to the standard ones. |
I don't think this is a great idea, you know we can save our own talent sets right? Therefore it only takes a couple clicks to change between talent sets. Probably less clicks than having to set the number of combats you want a specific set of talents for.
Also, I can imagine the scenario of doing doing a bunch of combats, and thinking your shooter talent set up is still okay, but then when you go do a defence or CG you suddenly have the wrong talent set. Checking how many combats you have left would be as time consuming as switching talent sets.

I do not want the game to think in my stead. If I make a mistake, I have to pay for it.
If you forget to change talents too often, keep those that are universal. After all (if my memory serves me well), we were not able to change talents easily when they were introduced, so current model is already very forgiving. |

I use equally 5 different talent sets when DE, they all are standard for the fight type I use them so I will have to check every time like I already do.
Checking your artifacts and talents is a "life saver". |
