The main expeditionary camp of the Empire was bustling as ever. Even on the last day of the Portal’s life, when most troops had already been recalled from the frontlines, the place seemed more than lively. But there was one spot lords and ladies dared not approach – Abu-Bakir’s grand tent, from which the sounds of miraculous incantations and profane exclamations of the court wizard rang out. Once again, his latest theory went down the drain. "This is not the first time nor is it the last," Abu-Bakir thought to himself. He was not even surprised, but rather frustrated, refusing to admit the probable reason of his misfortune. How does one recognize that which is logically impossible, anyway?

Lost in thought, the wizard abruptly pulled back the tent curtain and stepped outside, only to be almost run over by a soldier. Recoiling in fright, the young lad muttered a quick apology and tried to escape from sight as soon as possible, lest the wizard transform him into a nasty frog or something worse. Rumours about the court wizard’s temper over the past few days had taken on some exaggerated details among the soldiers. Unstirred, Abu-Bakir only lifted up his head, took a deep breath, and looked around at the horizon strewn by columns of smoke.

It was all real, but it couldn’t be, he sensed. As though something had changed the passage of time. No… changed its character. What if the one whose dark eye always looks out from the shadows is really complicit, and if so, what are the limits of his power? How is that really possible? These hypotheses seemed inconceivable to the wizard, contradicting all his knowledge and understanding of the nature and essence of time. He knew though that he could not find the answer on the spot; the hypothesising had to wait until he was on home ground and at peace. It was time to return.

Lords and Ladies, the favourable period has expired and the portal of time has again closed, marking the end of our campaign into the past. Abu-Bakir personally thanks everyone who responded to his call and helped keep the scientific expedition safe from harm. For the hardiness and bravery shown, everyone who managed to collect at least 500 crystals of time will be awarded with a special unique artifact. Its durability depends on the number of crystals collected!

  


All those who collected at least 250 crystals have been awarded with 1 to 30 pieces of the Imperial arbalest. The number too depends on the number of crystals collected.



All Lords and Ladies who have won at least one battle are entitled to a gold reward for their contribution! The exact amount depends on your number of victories and your combat level. Make sure to visit the Portal of Time page to collect your reward.



The top 16 clans will be generously rewarded with gold from the treasury of the Empire and battle glory points.
