The robbers’ ‘harvest’ was done, or rather, it had hardly begun. The greedy bloodthirsty sickle had been met with the undaunting stout shields of Empire’s fearless defenders. Not for the first time either. Surely, the courage of Empire’s heroes was all too well-known; but alas, there are those who refuse to learn from past debacles. Maybe this is the final lesson they needed, maybe not. But Empire’s citizenry watched the robbers run around haphazardly with their tail neatly tucked between their legs. Settlements were saved and it seems the harvest has been left untouched. All of Empire will rest easy this winter comforted by the warm feelings of pride as a result of the valour displayed by this land’s indomitable warriors. Well, as for the robbers, it is hard to imagine their fate will be any better than that of rats in their dark gloomy underground caves, not a morsel to eat; forced to tear at each other’s throats by the pangs of hunger and perhaps, so it must be. These lands are much better served by those who defend their kin with honor and reap the fruits of hard work rather than those who choose to fill their stomachs by underhanded robbery.

Greetings Lords! The robbers and their makeshift armies are defeated. The last remnants of their legions fly in terror even now, unable to withstand the bravery of Her Majesty’s defenders. Warlord Grammith expresses the Empire’s sincerest gratitude to everyone who took part in the settlement defence and, in his long letter, personally notes and commemorates the successes of the best warriors.

All lords and ladies who won 7 or more battles will be awarded with a trophy artifact and an achievement dependent on the combat level. Artifact durability depends on the final count (W*100 + C, where W = number of victories, and C = remained inhabitants):

All lords and ladies who have fought all 72 battles will be awarded with 10 parts of the Imperial Shield. In addition, all those who have shown good results will additionally be awarded with up to 10 parts of the artifact.

All lords and ladies who have achieved at least receive an award can receive an award for participation in gold. The award depends on the number of victories and the lord’s combat level. Gold can be collected from the ‘Settlement Defence’ page.

The names of top 100 defenders will forever be listed in this land’s annals of history!
