I was just watching some tournament battles (out of boredom) and came across this one: https://www.lordswm.com/war.php?lt=-1&warid=914921394
I was surprised to see some huge initiative boosts on the dwarf creatures. For example, master spearmen, whose normal initiative is 9, have 14.2. That's a whopping 58% increase. The only initiative boosting property they have is Clan building (+1%). Assuming the hero has maximum faction level (+14%, reasonable for combat level 22) and maximum TG level (+17%, a stretch?), I'm still not getting near 58%. Do artifacts account for the remaining increase? What can a hero wear to get that much initiative increase? Other than necklaces, shop artifacts generally don't boost initiative.
Perhaps these creatures get the boost simply because they're an AI army? | simply because they're an AI army?
You should check the links you post on forum. The dwarf you are talking about is a human.

quick tournaments allow non-shop arts also. | | Ha, you're right. That's a lot of initiative boosting artifacts. | It would almost definitely have been because of arts, like Wonderla said, quick tournament allows non-shop arts.
