Author | Cancel lot button in market |
Right now I can only buy my own lots which does the same thing as canceling it. The problem here is that if I don't have the gold to buy wathever I put on market, then I can not cancel it. |

No, 1% tax is deducted while buying own lots. |
I know. Wether or not canceling eats up the tax, I don't care. I just want to be able to cancel a lot that I can not buy without waiting quite a lot of time. Like right now I'm broken, I have 3 lots runing for 12 hours, event will end soon, I have elements and a few things that I can sell quickly to get some money back but I can't.
Unless you think that the current system where if you can not afford to pay yourself you can not cancel your own lot is optimal? |
In such cases, ask a friend to buy the art and say you will give gold back. :)
But I agree, would be great to cancel lots, solves issues if you have a typo or just miscalculated.
Might create even more of a frenzy when a new art is released too :) |
Personally never been in a situation where I wanted to cancel a lot but I can imagine a few situations where it'd be helpful to have

problem with this button is the abuse by the people that "want to be first". So say you put a wanted item on the market, 30 minutes, then i put one at -1g, 30 minutes, then you cancel, reduce by 1g, and so on.
It may sound drastic, but it actually happens quite often on common items like hunter gear or looted event items, or elements, or when people need to make quick money (specially those ruining themselves with roulette).
On a big scale (made possible by said button) this would pull down the market prices for those items, and force players willing to sell fast to stay on the market to prevent being downpriced.
I'd agree on a button that can be only used once per day, but not an unlimited one. |

+1 for this. |

That or once per art / element / resource. I.e. can't cancel the same art multiple times per day.
