Author | Is it illegal to save gold by transferring it in a friend's clan treasury ? |
I mean if i send some gold to a friend to save because i waste a lot of gold.
And the friend puts it in clan treasury.
I just want to ask, is it illegal? | Before everything, the fact that this includes transferring gold between players means that it needs to be in accordance to the general rules of transfers. A short recap to be aware of:
3.14. There are limits for transfers intended as loans. Maximum size of debt that can be owed to all other players in total is 15,000 * [Combat level] gold. The maximum term for loans is 1 month, unless the comments to the transfers state a shorter period.
3.15. There are limits for transfers intended as gifts. Gifts from a grantor to any particular player must not exceed 10,000 gold * [Combat level of the grantor] + 250 * [Diamonds obtained by the grantor through donations] per month.
3.21. Any banking and bookmaker activities are prohibited without exception.
Banking activities - granting loans with interest, receiving money from other players on deposit accounts, pawn shop business, insurance operations or any other bank activities.
Leasing artifacts and other non-monetary valuables is allowed.
Borrowing and loaning gold with no interest is allowed. Every transaction must be signed properly, indicating the terms of loan.
Bookmaker activities - taking bets on sports or other events with paying the winnings in money's worth.
Also rules involving the reasons why a clan representative would collect gold from someone in order to store it in the clan's treasury.

However, whether your specific request is legal or not, I would advice against it for it adds unnecessary noise to your transfer log and should someone try to figure out whether you are clean or not, this will only confuse them.
If you choose to proceed, make sure you document transactions properly on both ends. | receiving money from other players on deposit accounts
What does this line mean? | It means that you cannot deposit your gold in someone else's account. Its probably what you would be doing by depositing gold in a clan, so I assume its illegal. | Yes it is illegal, don't do it. | If you wish to save money, buy ores and stuff like that instead of putting into someone else's clan (depositing it there). Same 1% transfer tax lost. | Thnx for help. | closed by Botmun (2018-07-04 14:33:51) |
