Author | "Stadistics" after battle? |
(IDK if this has been suggested before, but lets go):
Sometimes something I really really want to know, is the amount of effort/impact someone has made through the battle.
Basically something like "Enemy units slain/killed: 67%". Something like that, mainly.
I wanna know sometimes the amount of Impact I had in battle.
Like, you know... Those battles where you get like:
A) God, I managed to carry this... Somehow, we did it, even though my ally was not actually too awesome.
B) Wow, my teammate is a God, he actually did most of the job, I must admit (This one has happened to me several times XD).
Also other "Useful" stuff maybe, like "Amount HP Healed" (If you are UN), "Amount of Magicks Cast by Hero", "Heaviest Hit (Damage)", or "Highest Damage with Luck", stuff like that. Even somewhat "Silly" stuff like "Amount of Armor Destroyed with DR (As DD/DB)". Or maybe better not go that far. :P
Maybe even "Average Morale Procs %", telling you the % of activating Morale (Like... Sometimes you have 2 Morale, but Activate it like every 2-3 Turns, Lol.)
Imo, it would add "Flavor" to the game after battles.
You would read "Enemy units slain: 70%", and you would say/think "Oohh, thats cool..." XD
You could also divide "Total amount of Damage Done" into "Magic Dmg", and "Physical Dmg" (For Charmers, maybe).
And "Physical Dmg" into "Physical MELEE Dmg Done", and "Physical RANGED Dmg Done".
IDK, interesting information, Imo... But what I want the most is "Amount of enemies killed (In %)".
It is true that this may not be a 100% Reliable Information, since some units are made more for "Support" casting Magicks (Like HK/DD sometimes?), and are not "Heavy Hitters".
You could even put "DPS" (Or "Average Damage Per Turn", maybe would be more correct).
... Or a Graph/Graphic (IDK the correct word here) showing your Damage done after every turn (Which normally would be lower, since Damage Done and Damage Taken decreases over time, unless you are Wizzard or DE, who always do same Damage, since theirs dont depend on Units/Army.).
You could Display this in the screen where you see "Exp/FSP/CG Points Received", with a "Pop-Up/DropDown Menu/Whatever", to avoid it lagging the screen at the end.
... Meaning you get to see it, or not, depending what you wanna, since it would be in a "Dropdown Menu", which I love, and this game has many. :P
Like "Access Battle Stadistics", or something like that.
People who played League (Maybe they have this in DotA aswell, IDK) know what Im talking about, probably.
I totally know this suggestion I make here would need a lot of "Programming", or whatever, but suggesting is free... Who knows :D | This would be really good.
+1 | Will be Kinda cool.

Very nice and detailed explanation btw :P | +1
This is gonna be very cool!!
its gonna make a strong impact on the game ^^ | Would be fun! :D

I am impressed with the idea.
I love how it gets more and more advanced so if admins took this suggestion seriously, they would have meaningful work for quite some time. But as you said, it would be more practical to develop some elements and go from there. % damage and stuff seems to be a good place to start. | Was interested in this post so I took one of your recent CG battles and worked out some stats https://www.lordswm.com/war.php?lt=-1&warid=858310839
Overall stats
Dark elf
1264 melee
11 ranged
5008 magic
111 healing
-1 morale burst
406 friendly
"kills" = 1
total damage = 6283 overkill = 3%
Barbarian
4716 melee
957 ranged
89 magic
8 luck shots
"kills" = 5
total damage = 5762 overkill = 7.2%
Tribal
3832 melee
1701 magic
10 healing
6 morale bursts
2304 damage dampened
637 remaining hp
287 friendly
"kills" = 4
total damage = 5533 overkill = 6.1%
Necro
9061 melee
473 ranged
44 magic
4706 healing
10 luck shots
2320 hp remaining
"kills" = 8
total damage = 9578 overkill = 17.5%
I also have a full list of unit damages but would be too long so some highlights
dark elf hero did 5008 damage from 10 casts
behemoths did the most damage per attack 1385 damage from 3
tribal spirit helped block more damage than the total hp of the warlord and enforcer stack
sky shamans gained 5 morale bursts in the combat
dreadlords dealed 3417 damage (almost as much as the entire tribals melee damage) this included the highest damage in the game 925 dealt to a stack of orcs with only 66 hp
although the dreadlords did the most damage, they also took the most, 3495 damage enough to kill the whole stack almost 3 times over
this was aided by 538 hp from lifesteal and the necro's healing output of 3585
the poltergeists took the lowest average damage per hit, 1380 damage from 15 hits, this was helped by 6 misses from 12 attacks, perfect 50% miss
thanks for the idea I find it very interesting | for merlin36:
what did you use to calculate all that? | +1 | For Merlin36:
Wow, WTH?! Beautiful!!!
The fact that you picked a victory of mine, and the whole thing in general. :P
You did like the "Version 2.0" of my Suggestion XD Adding those "Highlights" like...
although the dreadlords did the most damage, they also took the most, 3495 damage enough to kill the whole stack almost 3 times over
the poltergeists took the lowest average damage per hit, 1380 damage from 15 hits, this was helped by 6 misses from 12 attacks, perfect 50% miss
The "Healing" is awesome.
And even "Friendly Fire/Damage" (Of Tribal Hero Ritual which damages allies for ATB, I suppose) you made up is nice. Would also work if a Chaos Caster damages own units, I suppose, or when Magic hit own units, its good.
And the division of Damage into Magic and Physical Damage, and Physical Damage into Ranged and Melee, as I mentioned.
I also wanna know, like Virtual:
what did you use to calculate all that?
Since I dont think you counted it move per move manually, lol... Would be way too long.
Yet your numbers seem very realible, Imo.
This added into the game would be so awesome, would give excitement even after the battle is over, because its fun to know this information.
Also knowing this may make you wanna swap your Tactics/Builds, because with the Numbers you can make Conclusions | It might be good, but not in this way.
Darkness or holy players ll seem useless and very underappreciated |
