Can anyone explain me the bidding in the market? |
everybody enters their bid and when the timer reaches 0 highest bid at that moment wins the item... |
so like if somoene bids 1 at my item an no one else bids will it go for 1? |
yes...
but you can set starting bid when putting item up for auction... |
DO people bid though?
or they have just made it a feature but no one uses it? |
depends what you selling and how much you wanna sell it for...
there lots of people who are always swiping market for good deals...
there be different people who specialize in different areas of market...
some specialize in tgi some in rare arts...
quite a lot doing regular shop arts too... |
Just don't bother with bidding. |
I would say bidding is particularly useful when you want to leave it to others to determine the worth of a new artifact. People will bid how much they are willing to pay for the stuff and you don't have to bother with estimating a fixed price. |
if you looking to sell an item i would recommend against auction unless you absolutely want to get rid of that item and willing for it to sell below market price...
if you looking to buy stuff and make a profit from bidding for underpriced stuff, you gotta do lots of research and have some modal as well as some experience will let you get a better grip of the entire bidding process |
K i will take ur help if i ever wanna bid ^^ |

Not exactly. Say starting price is 1. You bid 20k. Price for bidding displayed will be 1 gold. Then another guy comes in and bids 10k. Price will now increase to 10kish (you can't outbid 10 000 with 10 001 so the game adds the minimum value to outbid 10 000). Then another one comes in and bids 50k. New price is 20kish and your bid is cancelled (you get back your 20k). |
Obviously at the end of the auction the price you pay is the displayed price, so in previous exemple that would be 20kish for the guy who bid 50k. |
Ehh...
its so damn confusing can you explain in easy language? |

alright thx ^^
and one thing more ....
what will you guys recommend me to do more bid or direct sale? |
bids are a bet: if you have an interesting artifact, chances are that it will sell for more than what you expect. But if it is an uninteresting one, you may sell it for much cheaper than expected.
Direct sales are the safe way. But you must follow market fluctuations to make sure they actually aren't overpriced, or you won't sell your items.
The rest is really up to your choice. |

for Lord Hallion91:
so the highest bidder actually pays only the amount that is second highest bid? So there is a refund when auction expires? I don't think that is true. |
Yes its true! |
