AuthorSo now when I try casting Delay or Rapid, the ATB Changes. This is COOL.
Do check it out guys, I think this is the best mini update in recent times. Just thought I'd share it.

It shows if your creature will move or not move, if yes then how much on the ATB. No more delays with the 'Hope' of pushing back a creature.

Another update they implemented, facilities that have gold but not resources for production have red arrows instead of black. No more need to click on a production facility in hopes of good money just to see that you can't enroll there :)
also for cerberus(and sprites of course) you may see the exact attacking area.
btw mistress get a bug with this upgrade, now it shows always 0 damage.

great! What about unfettered cyclops? Their attack area is not really intuitive...

Kinda skeptical about this, I admit I haven't tried it yet, though. I mean, apparently it's awesome, but I don't know if it'll be fun sometimes.
We got damage on-hit calculator, which Imo it was good/OK, but I fear they are now giving us way too much information now. Then they could also put a "Reminder" to tell us whether an enemy has used a Rune or not (Dwarves), or whether they have Retal/Answer (As in HoMM V). as I suggested long ago in I&S.
I fear the game might lose tactics/strategy, but just my thought. As I said, haven't checked yet (Wasp not working D:).
Also, the excitement of trying to push a unit as Barb/Knight/Tribal to make your stack play before enemy, and think "Yes, it worked! I play before now"... Because you would already kngetmyturnow :I.

IMO that was more necessary than the damage indicator. With experience I knew which hits would hit hard and which ones were really bad moves and setup traps for player to "attack" and get destroyed by retal.

Now however the wasp and rapid/delay was completely random and dice roll. I mean, sure, you could wait with hero to get an idea of how high the probabililty for wasp to pull a stack far enough back, but in the end, no one could really tell. It was even worse for rapid/delay because then you really had no clue as there is no instant effect.

what makes it necessary i ask.. If it would only exist in pve because AI will have this information too and this update makes it fair. For pvp, it just another way to make things predictable. Still i appreciate they put in the effort, apparently these kind of updates are welcomed by so many. I reckon, the intention is to only have morale and luck as the uncertain factors.

I wouldn't mind if they also show % chance of luck/morale on your turn. Well at least in PvE... in stuff like ST it usually gives a pretty decent advantage to keep track, but very annoying to do so.

As per luck, yes, I would remove that if it were up to me. I regularly hate that when I lose or win over excessive (or lack) of triggers. Morale is fairer because you are usually given time to react before next move, that's the amount of randomness I think is fine and forces you to adapt to the situation. But I'm not an admin, luck will always be in the game and the update won't be removed so I see no point in arguing either way.

It never was hidden from when i played my first battle. Although, they allowed us to scroll and see everything recently. But, You have misunderstood my point. I'm not saying i really want this change reverted or anything. Its the difference between a noob and an experienced player which is being minimized - can be a good thing or bad thing - but we dont have a choice because that's the way admins want it to be. The only differential that seems to matter is stats along with triggering abilities and luck/morale. Along with so many others changes, i think i can accept this too. But this is the right forum and its not so bad to get to talk about the change right?

Now that i have said it all, you tell me, whether or not it was more fun when everyone had to estimate these things besides damage dealt and suffered based on experience alone? To me the answer is plain obvious and that's all i wanted to say.
