Authordead end
I seem to be at a dead end with this game. I can't seem to get enough funds for the level I'm at as everything is so expensive. I can't join any clans or tournaments or challenges as I can't afford the AP requirements. I don't understand where I have gone wrong. Does anyone have any help before I give up on this game?
your labourers guild is rather low, you need to enroll more.

At the end of the day this game is sustainable if you can log in to enrol for a greater amount of hours than you can actually play (the more so the better). For many this is via their phone or they are able to do so while at work. Even so to start with it is harder to manage funds and enjoy all aspects of the game. Later on the gold rewards compared to costs are comparatively better, and of course you will have a higher labourers guild.

Stick to min art battles and do not try and develop other faction castles till it is financially sustainable to do so.
you play this game "wrong". its called lords of war and money. having sustainable funds is as important as having tactical warfare. enroll more, stick with min ap hunt and MG quest. dont do pvp until you unlock CG.
With your level you can probably do quite a few mercenary battles, in min AP it roughly pays for the artifacts and the elements will net you nice profit. You will need to level it up a bit to get the ones that sell well and some patience.

It takes a while to get a full set, but think that the hard part is to actually pay for it (you need to find money to pay for like 50 battles). Once you do have it, it is much easier to keep up. I'm getting 500 gold per enroll (in mining) so I roughly need 2 enrols to pay for full set battle, but in practice many battles in full set provide income one way or another, so in practice it is only true for PvP.
you just have to build your gold slowly. I remember it was hard for me to manage gold when i was your level. Heck even around level 12 it used to be hard.

I think this is the best advice:

You just have to save up enough once, then its much easier to get by.
enroll 8 time each day for a month and you're set
@6 now where is the fun in that :)

Its sometimes a turn off for me, like the whole point of game comes to only enrolling. I personally didnt come to play it for that, but then again with enough diamonds you can do a lot.

GL Babesy and dont give up

Wait, you saying it is not?

To be honest, it is the only thing that still keeps me playing atm. I'm a slave.
Thanks for all the replies! Unfortunately I can't enroll on my phone so its hard to get enough per day. It does require a lot of patience which makes it slow but i'll keep trying
all good advice here. i would like to add: don't play roulette, it will get you only more broke
I have loads of scarp arts, do people buy these anymore or should I just get rid of them?
for JadesyBabesy:
What do you mean by scarp?
Typo of scrap I assume.

some people buy scrap, but easier to discard.
Use roulette, it says in the tips it's a quick way to get rich.
for JadesyBabesy:
Download dolphin if you use android.
@14 thats some funny stuff there :D

A quick and easy way to sell any art is to sell them for slightly lower than cost per battle x durability, especially if it is not full durability.
yeah sorry I mean scrap* arts. no one seems to buy things from the market
Yes, roulette helps a lot. But, if it's someone else telling you to try roulette, then roulette is not for you.
Roulette is a darwinistic tool. It serves to bankrupt the weak-minded, thus ensuring the highest possible percentage of intelligent players.
Survival of the fittest.
