| Author | Initiative bar, the 'ATB-scale' |
According to the rules about it, it sais:
'The pre-combat positioning of units on the bar happens with a random deviation of 0% to 10%.'

My question is what does this mean? Does it mean creatures that have a initiative deviation of 10% or less with each other are random on the bar at start? Like a creature with ini 8.8 can get it's turn at start before a creature with ini 9.1?
If so then in this battle:
https://www.lordswm.com/war.php?lt=-1&warid=818728567
how do 3 stacks of elven bowmen with ini 10 get their turn before my 2 stacks of grandmaster bowmen with ini 11.8? Two of those three elven bowmen stacks also get their turn before my anchorite stack with ini 11.8. Since deviation 10% on ini 10 would mean ini ranging from 9 up to 11. And as mathematics goes ini 11.8 is 18% higher than ini 10, so way out of the 10% deviation range.

So in short, what does that deviation of 0% to 10% really mean? | | After the revamp of MG, raid opponents get their turn faster (only at the start) and have larger amount but fewer waves. | In MG raids , opponent army is placed at 0.7 ATB.
And thus gets their turn faster than most creatures in your army. | | Yes, it will be a little luck who goes first ..if its mroe than 10%, it is likely that the one higher will goes first | I see, I did not know about the 0.7 ATB in MG raids.
Thanks for the information and help. | | closed by Lawton (2017-01-29 05:34:36) |
