The battlemagi takes 0 damages from my magi's through shot in this battle. Why?

Battlemagi protect their nearing friendly units from throughshot, hence each BM is protecting the one beside it.
For the same reason, when you shoot a unit in front of a BM, the unit takes 0 damage and the BM dies. | | Yeap, the "careful aim" ability is in fact "aura of throughshot immunity". Not exactly, as the mage does not shield himself, where auras do include the central tile. It's a bit like the difference between firball and ice wall.
And yes, definitely an "unintended feature" considering the way it works ;p |
