Buyout auction. It is an auction where the creator posts a lot to sell an item. The winner of the lot is the character with the highest bid at the moment of auction expiration, or the first buyer to agree to the buyout price. In the latter case, the auction is ended immediately. The buyer can take part in auctions, increasing bids gradually or setting his or her highest bid right away. In the latter case, the program will effectuate gradual bids instead of the Buyer, even if he or she goes offline, but won't bid higher than the preset maximal bid.

Then I can just Bid 50.000 in anything I want to buy to scare people, but I will actually only pay a little mor than the Highest Bid before me. |
@ Ipsen: other bidders can only see your actual bid, not your maximum bid. They can only find that out by bidding more than you.
If the seller knew your maximum bid of 50.000, he could ask a friend to bid 49.999 and force you to buy for 50.000... |
