Look at his un blemished record of 0 FSP in all factions other thn wizard. He has stood firm in the face of faction resistance even when easy in portal of time events.
Well you could still stay true to your name in other factions and only ever do a magic build.
Anyway, why not, lets go for it. as concerns all other rest of the world, they should all change to a real faction (one of those two above) | I quite agree on the idea of making a new "alt wiz" class. Because although battlewise is good, it still miss the point of a "magic" class.
Actually, all classes using magic perform better than wizard in PVP: Necro has cursing spells to weaken the opponent, then good troops to finish them off; demon can do similar tricks, with faster units, and knight can buff insanely already strong troops.
Wizard.. can just hit while running away. Well, BW can now hit, but where the strongest knight combo can deal 10K+ damage with one hit, wizard's strongest troops (fortune genies) caps around 6k - talking about min AP for both - and needs to get close, meaning it will often be a one-shot before it dies or gets weakened. shooters are decent, but no more.
I would love to see a wizard version where troops and spells are actually bound, and wizard can finally be a master of magic without having to hit himself; something where summons, buffs, nature magic finally can be put to good use, and allow for strategic fights rather than just ONE strategy.
Could be something where the wiz' spell efficency would be directly tied to troops, and no chaos spells around, only dark, nature, and white magic (or just have chaos talent school to be more expensive, and the 3 others cheaper).
Or even some sort of spell-combination option, for example the ability to mix spells for a totally new effect (imagine, casting berserk and bless on a unit gives it the ability to fly - or anything else, in short just something that can make the end of a battle uncertain, like dwarf's runes).
End of the day, even the devs are tired of seeing the shoot & run wiz strategy going on.
In a few word, make wizards masters of magic, rather than out of field shooters, would bring magic to the level of might. Finally. | I like @guyb suggestion for wizard...the classic wizard strategy for fights (hope enchanted gargoyles survive long enough to machine gun lightning bolt the enemy down) is incredibly stale (although I'm a sucker for lightning bolt :P )...

with all kinds of spells to improve hero equipment, mini arts and creature armaments. | Unlikely, admins said they don't like mages lol...
Though might be possible if next one is classic.
Now don't forget how long it took for de alt, next in line is obviously tribal and dwarf, I don't think next wiz alt will be any soon, not before 2020 almost for sure. | Ahahaha, can't help but love you after all these years naviron ! :D
