AuthorDynamic balancing for TG
So difficulty of caravans increases when we win.
If i were to use enchants, would i have a better win ratio or would i eventually stagnate to the same win ratio as difficulty keeps increasing?
IIRC Difficulty increases with the FSP you get.

If you wear more AP, you obviously get more FSP.
Thus, Difficulty increases even mooaarrr.

This is why I really dont understand ppl who play TG with so many AP.

as the difficulty go higher, so does the fsp gain, from every win.

but main reason is, as TG level goes up, difficulty (= caravan HP) increase more with each win. hence, with low ap, one can not get a decent loss (= decent reduce).

in my TG level, losing with min ap requires too many loses to decrease caravan strenght down to beatible. then 1 win, all that decrease evaporates.

almost all lvl 20-21's plays with enhance ;)

note : high fsl dwarf and wizards seem to do better, they can deal a lot damage even with min ap, hence get good reduction while losing.

until TG 5, you will probably not notice such ill effects, stick to cheap ambushing as long as its doable ;)
Besides what selfist said, sometimes you also face some nasty rangers with medium/high ap. If you play with more ap, you at least have a chance to defeat them. (and battles against normal players becomes much easier as well) :P

Then best way would be to just play Min AP, and whenever you wanna reduce the Difficulty hard, equip Full AP and intentionally lose.
I do to get a decent loss (= decent reduce). 1 loss and getting near to max fsp and then 5-6 wins is an easy way to level up TG rather than ~3-4 losses.

My fsp cap is ~0.65 fsp in solo ambush and I can get near to it in most losses. Compare it with mid ap, I have to fight 3 fights at 0.2 fsp to get the same level of reduction.
Also ench art doesn't cost that much in the long run. My TG set is cheaper than full ap set at my CL. :)
I use 5*7%, that is like getting Expert Offense talent bonus (28% more damage) :)

Lord selfist is TG 9 and CL 18. He'd do ambushes in min ap if he could. You can't decrease difficulty beyond a particular point.

Difficulty depends on 4 factors:
1. CL
2. Class
3. TG level
4. Win/loss factor

Out of these 4, only win/loss factor is variable. Rest all are constant.
