For you I would say, upcoming DE alt will help you...?
For me battle with battlewise wizard is difficult if I take max. attack and def.
but I can easily defeat them with initiative build.
In random paired tourney BW is not the only opponent ;) |

It just a paper scissor game, and with skills
Wizard's weakness would be elf and dwarf , they are fast initiative killer which dont give wiz time to run or escape
as for might wizard , other might faction like barbarian could outperform wiz too |
DE doesn't have a significant ranger and even alt DE doesn't have it.
So its always a difficult task.No other way |

well, for dwarf it is not a problem usually |
the new elf and new wizard
new wizard got spell and attack both..so they dont need to run
same goes for elf. hero's spell increases exponentially |

You're absolutely right. They need some rebalancing for CL 16 imo. DEs totally suck against BW, CE and classic Demons.
But I guess its a matter of some factions being better against particular factions and sucking against other factions.. |
| Check last minor tournament results at lvl 16. Three DE:s amongst the twelve gold medalists. No other faction scored that well. Study those players and you'll get a clue of to play agains all factions. |
I should add:
Might DEs totally suck against BW, CE and classic Demons.
Mage still struggle against BWs, UN, Classic Demons.
